Please help - worried about ms!!

Hi everyone!!

Im driving myself mad and would really appreciate some help or advice.

So long story short i have just had a baby who is now almost 5 months and ive been experiencing some strange symptoms and its giving my such awful anxiety 

Ive had a twitching thumb, pins and needles when resting on legs and hands, electric buzz sensations, blurry vision on phone and tv, weakness in legs when holding baby, weird sensations on different patches of skin, my knee feels odd, muscle twitches and ive had this bitter taste on one side of my tongue which doesnt go and is only on one side.

Im due to have a phone appt with my gp but i dont know when and how il even get tested and i cant live like this - i want to enjoy my baby but im going out of my mind!!

Please can someone help or offer advice - anyone have these symptoms and turn out okay? Anyone with ms?

I had very similar symptoms after a pregnancy and it was a severe B9 deficiency (level was 0.3!) Easily treated with supplements.

@Jazzybeats i hope youre able to get to the bottom of it. Its really good if the medication has helped resolve most symptoms and youre having further tests.

@Tempusfudgeit thank you! thats really reassuring to know, i will try and request a blood test with my gp as it would be good to check vitamin levels etc

@Fadeout83 hey, no not really and im still having the symptoms Are you okay?

@r1911 I’m waiting for my MRI at the moment. Been having some tingling in hands and feet and a few other niggling things. Did my bloods yesterday to test for every deficiency under the sun and mri hopefully not far off.

Did you ever have yours?

@Fadeout83 im so sorry youre also going through worrying symptoms, im still awaiting the copy of the mri results for my spine. Its so scary not knowing whats going on so i understand what youre going through

Hi r1911, have you had your mri yet? I have almost identical symptoms in my legs. Hoping a trapped nerve but worrying about MS.

Sorry for the late reply, im still no closer to any sort of diagnosis in all honesty, im still having symptoms and have no answers yet. Im going to ask for further tests as the spine mri showed degenrative changes and disc issues but nothing else was reported on. I just want to get answers as it impacts daily life - have you had any tests?

@r1911 how are you now? I am experiencing the same symptoms.
