Oh Alibobins! Very good news about ds. I really hope dd's sicky feeling is psychological, my dh (who hates being sick) goes green if I even mention that me or dc have been sick. Try and take care of yourself too if you have five mins (I hear chocolate digestives have great medicinal properties )

for the slightly better news, and fingers crossed for those 24 hours off O2.

I'm glad you took care of yourself, hard as it is, its the best thing you can do for ds in the long run - hats off to you. And I hope dd's feeling sick goes away...we've had a sort of sick feeling bug that comes to nothing, so at worst, hope its that kind!

Most of all, ongoing get well thoughts to your ds xxx

What a horrible horrible week

Ds was so poorly it was touch and go weather to admit him to HDU thankfully they didn't.

They have told me to double up on all his medication so is now on 4 puffs of seritide morning and night, 2 puffs of atrovent 3 times a day and five puffs of ventolin 4 hourly.

He's also got his singular and a ten day course of prednisolone and antibiotics.

So although we are home he's still not 100% and they have given permenent open acsess to the ward by a pink card system.

We have got a follow up in three weeks with his normal consultant.

I'm just glad to be home

PHEW. Poor ds . The pink card system is a good back up to have though. Hope all the meds do the trick.
