What's your resting heart rate?

I've just recently purchased the New FitBit Versa 3 and I love how it tracks your sleep pattern and heart rate through the day and night.
Mine seems to be a resting heart rate of 67- 75 and when I'm up on my feet doing things around the house it's around 85-90 bpm but often goes over 100 when I'm fishing around.
I'm interacted to know what everyone else's are as I have no idea what's normal and I'm just getting to grips with this new health watch 🤣

I've never had one below 55 and I'm slim and active.

Blood pressure is low, nothing to worry about really.

dontdisturbmenow · 10/10/2020 12:01

Between 48 and 58 depending on my cycle. It will go down to 40 at night. When I'm around 48/50 for a few days, I do feel lighthesded the next day.

My HR goes up and down a lot. Will be up to 180+ when running (although feel ok), but under 50 just sitting on the sofa.

Mumisnotmyonlyname · 10/10/2020 23:02

62-64

Crinkledbeetroot · 10/10/2020 23:04

Normally somewhere between 43-47bpm. I'm not at all fit so not sure why it's so low.

TheSultanofPingu · 10/10/2020 23:14

67-72

FlatScreenTV01 · 10/10/2020 23:17

55 bpm Fitbit charge 4. I am 46 years old.

megletthesecond · 10/10/2020 23:19

55 when awake.
Around 45 when asleep. I think my heart pumps blood when it can be bothered Hmm.

46yrs and in good health. Also a runner, gym person, low blood pressure. It goes up to 160 when I'm doing the last bit of parkrun and drops really fast.

Pikachubaby · 10/10/2020 23:20

Everyone is so low

Mine is 65, and I do sport daily (am 48)

I did not realise that was high!

notapizzaeater · 10/10/2020 23:20

Between 42 and 44 and I'm obese - had it checked at the doctors this year and it's ok.

Derelictwreck · 10/10/2020 23:21

Between 50-60 depending on my cycle.

OP the foot it app tells you how healthy yours is. Go into heart rate then select a day, and swipe left/right. It tells you your heart health

MuckyPlucky · 10/10/2020 23:21

Pre-covid = 43-47.

Now = 51.

I’m age 40, fairly fit & active (swim, cycling, running) slightly overweight.

Toontown · 10/10/2020 23:26

It's not high you just have skewed answers. Only people with unusually low rates are answering. This is a prime example of why anecdotal evidence is so poor!

ChangingStates · 10/10/2020 23:27

I am so reassured by all the low ones. Mine is low to mid 50s at rest, sometimes in bed can be below 50. Am 48 and slim but not at all fit- busy life but no proper exercise- and was worried it was too low!

Premiumbond · 10/10/2020 23:30

65-72.

Kote · 10/10/2020 23:31

Around 65 usually according to my fitbit

bumblenbean · 10/10/2020 23:34

Mines about 70. Would like to get it a bit lower.

Until recently it was often around 90 - 100 and nobody could explain why despite various tests and an ECG. Turns out to have been a medication I’d been on for years - it came right down a month or so after stopping.

coronafiona · 10/10/2020 23:34

About 65 but I am lucky rather than fit!

blobbyface · 10/10/2020 23:37

I'm 48 and today's average resting heart rate is 53.

CarpeVitam · 10/10/2020 23:42

About 65.

FlatScreenTV01 · 10/10/2020 23:46

What is our bpm supposed to be?

zenasfuck · 10/10/2020 23:48

Mines 73. I'm fat and very unfit Grin

nachthexe · 10/10/2020 23:49

58-68 depending on cycle.
I am laughing at everyone in the 40s. That’s technically bradycardia territory 😂
This thread is terrible - for fuck’s sake none read it and assume 40s is normal 😂😂
I mean, technically it IS for an infinitesimally small fraction of the population, but.... 😂😂

Kathy2020 · 10/10/2020 23:53

Mine is 72bpm; starting to slightly worry now as everyone else’s seem to be a lot lowerConfused I am in my 30’s, normal weight

CheshireSplat · 10/10/2020 23:54

nach yes it is technically brachycardia. But that isn't necessarily a problem.

WolffromTheWest · 10/10/2020 23:55

57-59 but goes up to 60/61 around ovulation time. I'm in my forties.
