I'm bruising and don't know why :(

Well, I do know why I have one of them ... I caught my leg very very slightly on the corner of my bed. There was a tiny red mark perhaps the size of half a 5p. A bruise has appeared 3" long and an 1" wide.

I have a massive deep purple one on my thigh. On my other thigh one has appeared tonight.
I have one on my arm. On my knee. Two on my leg. All new. All today.
I do an office job. Nothing manual at home this week.
I also (not sure if related) can't stop wanting to wee !

Should I be concerned ? I can see another one under the skin on my upper arm :(

My guess from the heavy periods is that it's possibly due iron or B12 deficiency. Though there are other vitamin deficiencies that can cause this, the heavy periods suggest one or both of these 2.

Do you eat meat or fish & do you have any other symptoms such as exhaustion. If you've not had any problems or other symptoms before & you eat meat & fish, then it might solely be down to the heavy periods. In which case good supplements will help.

If you don't eat meat & fish, you could be low due to your diet. Or a common gut infection. Blood tests are then a good idea, especially with other symptoms

Hello everyone Thankyou for you concern ... it amazes me how caring you are. I am going to the Doctors at the end of August. I wanted to see my own GP as she's lovely.
I don't have much of an appetite - this year has been particularly stressful and I can't eat when I feel stressed. I will let you all know. I haven't forgot. Thankyou for all of your advice and thoughts

I actually googled and came across your thread that I posted on from earlier this month, after a totally gross bruise on my foot ankle, didn't think too much of it when I hurt it at the time, but think I will go to docs.
