I've had piles since pregnancy 4 years ago
Never really caused me any problems, tonight when sitting on the toilet they felt quite a lot more prominent so I took this picture to check. And they appear to be coming from inside? (As opposed to the front one that seems exterior)
I'm sure you'll all say go to a dr, but is there anything I can do myself?

Sit on a bag of peas wrapped in a towel to reduce swelling then preparation H internally and externally. Do everything you can to prevent constipation. See GP when you can get an appointment

Have u tried putting anusol on them? Get a Gp appt then speak to pharmacist for interim advice. Bless u that looks so sore

Take care of your diet. Loads of water, fruit and veg etc. Lots of fibre.

Don’t strain, go when you need to

GP for some steroid cream. I had horrific ones after pregnancy, but this sorted it out eventually

When MNHQ give a warning I really need to start heeding the warning and stop clicking in a gung-ho it'll-be'fine sort of way. Dear lord that looks awful. I wish I had some sensible advice - but please just go to the GP.

They’re going to need surgery. I would book an appointment for the GP as soon as possible.

I had similar if not worse after DC2 and Anusol sorted them out. You poor thing, it's so painful

It's not sore at all, I'm not and am never constipated, they do push back in but they just don't stay there.

There isn’t surgery available on the NHS now for piles. So it’s a waste of time going to a GP as they will just give DIY advice as other people have or you can google...

Mine were like that straight after having my ds.
I used anusol cream and the nozzle bit to get inside took a few weeks to settle back down.
Also toilet wipes rather than paper helped loads, as well as warm baths.
Definitely see gp as soon as you can

Share your pain. Had to get the OP in the end here. Gotta love the joys of pregnancy eh!? Pop them in, then insert a germaloid tab for a few days. See if they shrink. And do not try any herbal remedies! I can assure you that garlic is the work of the devil. Yes, i was that desperate....

Scheriproct cream from the GP may help. Banding is offered on NHS.

Anusol I believe doesn't do anything to make the piles better. See your GP - I work in gastro and they're always seeing people with piles and doing operations / banding etc in this 'region' nobody bats an eyelid about seeing bottoms, inside or outside
