If I said I had a cure for Psoriasis, would anyone be interested?

I suffer with this problem of psoriasis and have been offered many creams and other medications to make it appear less visible but none are cures and they only deal with the symptoms.
Sadly for me I suffer from two types of psoriasis but I have managed to almost rid myself of one of them and if anyone is interested I will tell you how I did it.

I think the medical establishment would very interested.

VegasWithRadishes · 10/12/2017 04:59

No, because it reads like some kind of MLM spiel to be honest.
If you have something truly helpful surely you'd just post it???

NotSureThisIsWhatIWant · 10/12/2017 05:01

Sales plot for some untested made at home product?

Reppin · 10/12/2017 05:04

Today is my lucky day! First I have been left over a million by a church in Nigeria, now this! Yes! I want your cure!

AsMenDclaredWomenTheirInferior · 10/12/2017 05:10

@ OwtFerNowt
Yes I presumed that and I have tried to pass the info on via a few psoriasis forums and blogs where people claimed they were sufferers of psoriasis but the odd thing is no one responded and especially on the blogs where they were espousing a new treatment for it.
So I have pondered this and realised the various treatments offered are a big money spinner and no one who is making lots of money from it, for instance pharmaceutical companies and homeopaths are interested in any cure.

Colloidal silver can help psoriasis. It's extortionate to buy ready made colloidal silver but there is equipment you can buy to make your own. Once you buy the kit to make yourself at home it's extremely cheap to make, you just need distilled water.

@VegasWithRadishes
You sound very cynical?
but just to let you know I have posted it many times across the internet.
I have even told my doctor.

@Yeahsureokay
That is not a cure is it?

OP posts:
Yeahsureokay · 10/12/2017 05:23

It depends on the cause of the psoriasis but I never said anywhere in my post that it was a cure. I said it can help.

Reading comprehension. You too can master it.

fuzzywuzzy · 10/12/2017 05:23

So what is the cure you’ve discovered? My mum suffers from psoriasis I’m sure she’d like to know.

Yeahsureokay · 10/12/2017 05:25

Are you going to help people and tell them your cure now AsMen? I think a lot of people would be very grateful? Lots of people will read the thread now and in the future when they google.

flumpybear · 10/12/2017 05:25

I get psoriasis too - what's your treatment?

Reppin · 10/12/2017 05:26

So post your cure! I said I wanted to know and you did say you would tell anyone who wanted to know. Why won't you post?

AsMenDclaredWomenTheirInferior · 10/12/2017 05:26

For anyone out there who suffers from psoriasis here is the cure for you.
It's very simple, they will offer you various creams to rub into your flesh
when what you really need to apply is just talcum powder.

Reppin · 10/12/2017 05:45

Can you give us links to the published results of your study? You are not just giving us anecdata about your own experiences are you? Talc has shown in multiple studies to increase the risk of certain cancers.

AsMenDclaredWomenTheirInferior · 10/12/2017 05:58

No i CANNOT provide you with any links to my own findings.

Oh gosh, what a shame. You seemed so genuine.

LloydSpinjago · 10/12/2017 06:10

Fuck me. This is incredible. Have you let the NHS know? I'm sure the call from the Lancet is due imminently. Hmm

Yeahsureokay · 10/12/2017 06:13

I don't know how that is any more of a cure than silver in your book, but thanks for sharing, I'm sure there are people who will want to try it. Hopefully yours will clear up completely one day...

In case anyone is interested, silver can be applied topically and taken internally. I was going to post a couple of interesting articles relating to how it might help psoriasis but they are endorsing expensive products and like I said, you can make it yourself for pennies once you have bought the equipment. I've had mine 7 years it's still going strong. (I use silver for all kinds of things, I drink a few ounces of it a day during phases, so you can imagine the cost if I bought ready made.) It can act through several ways, killing bacteria and fungi at the site, and inhibiting DNA replication (which stops cell multiplication). It helps a lot of things in the body. It's anti-fungal, anti-viral, a powerful antibiotic. A quick google should get all the info you need. I'm not touting it as a miracle cure but maybe it will help someone.

Haha.

Oh lord this should be good. I've suffered from psoriasis since I was sixteen, and I'm now forty. Anecdotes don't count. Scientific results do, and believe me I have tried just about everything.

AsMenDclaredWomenTheirInferior · 10/12/2017 06:46

@Yeahsureokay
Why don't you try talcum powder?
My psoriasis that I had for over four years on half of one of my legs disappeared within four weeks.
The flaky skin has gone, the redness, the sores, all gone.

One day I had a shower and my skin was sore and red raw where I had scratched the dry skin off.
And I thought to myself that raw skin is wet, so I applied talcum powder to it and after that i didn't touch or scratch the surface of that area with my bear hands.
It did itch, but i scratched only through material of the trousers I wore at the time because there is bacteria on your hands and I didn't want to infect my leg.
I only applied the talc after I had a shower and gently dried the area first with a towel first.
After two weeks of doing this the itching had completely stopped and gradually all the flaky skin fell off leaving a clear dry skin underneath and it has been like that for over a year.
That to me is what I call a cure.
I still apply the talc even now, even though there is no evidence psoriasis was ever there.

OP posts:
Reppin · 10/12/2017 06:49

I would imagine that your bear hands did indeed harbour bacteria that could be harmful to your human legs.

AsMenDclaredWomenTheirInferior · 10/12/2017 06:54

@laudanum
Yes, we have all been there who suffer from psoriasis.
We have all tried their recommended creams and snake oil medicines to no avail.
I am not selling anything, I am just telling you what worked for me.
It's no skin off my nose if you don't try it or you do.
It is completely your own choice.

flumpybear · 10/12/2017 06:54

I'll give it a try 🤩
