Anyone want to join me on a diet overhaul?

I've decided it's time to address my diet - but not by going on a 'diet'.
I am a healthy weight, exercise loads, in pretty good shape, have a metabolic age ten years younger than I am etc so weight is NOT a factor.

However I eat way too much crap. I have a seriously sweet tooth and aside from a healthy breakfast and occasionally healthy lunch I eat pretty badly. I snack all the time and everything is sugar based pretty much. I know it's hampering my exercise and I could be in much better all round condition if I changed my habits.
However I've come to the conclusion that unless i am somehow accountable for what I eat each day I will never break these habits. So I wondered if there's anyone here in the same boat that fancies joining me in shaming themselves each day but without the calorie count or weigh in?

200g porridge oats
150g sultanas
100g chopped dried dates
100g chopped dried apricots
50g omega seeds
3 x crushed bananas
Mix all this in a bowl and then add 3 tbsp olive oil and 3 tbsp of honey (warmed in the microwave for 30 seconds to make runnier)
Put it in a baking tray (line with baking paper or foil) and cover with foil. Cook on about 170 (fan over) for 30 minutes(ish) removing the foil for the last 5-10 mins

Oooh that looks nice actually Skala no freaky chia seeds or kale Grin I'll give them a try...do they taste banana-y or not really?

I've had yoghurt with seeds, blueberries, mango and cinnamon for breakfast and am going to mow the lawn then have lunch...I think the urge to eat all the biscuits has passed...for now...

Argh...the munchies got me! An apple, a handful of Brazil nuts, 3 chilli rice cakes and a bowl of sweet/salt popcorn...at least it's not chocs and biscuits but still...

Could've been worse fauxfox! I've had a decent day, DS didn't want most of his cornetto earlier and it pained me so badly to throw it away rather than eat it myself but I did it! Sounds pathetic but that is something I would never have done - baby steps!

Sounds like you're both doing pretty well.

I've not done so great. Blush

I had an Easter egg last night.
And then I met my friend for coffee earlier and had a massive cookie.

I've bought Joe Wicks' lean in 15 cookbook today mainly because I fancy him. And so I'm going to try out one of his super healthy recipes later which, if nothing else, will help me feel better about myself.

I've tried a few of his recipes and they are pretty good. I knew a few people that absolutely swear by him.
I'm doing ok, did have four squares of dairy milk last night but as I swapped chips for broccoli with my ham egg and chip dinner I felt it was deserved!
Today is ok, monster two hours in the gym this morning and managed to resist the post workout snacking somehow. Have just had some popcorn but I can live with that after my super healthy and super gross soup for lunch!

Eating broccoli definitely trades off against a couple of squares of chocolate!

I made Joe's lean beef burgers tonight with sweet potato fries.
DS turned his nose up at the whole lot and stormed off in a huff!
So I've had a nice meal and DS has had half a burger, an apple and a banana!

But I feel very full and very angelic.

Still not doing too badly and quite proud of my first week. Did had half a pack of munchies last night but didn't have any wine so balances things out surely?! Feeling better actually so going to keep on trying to stick to it. Weekends are tough though - especially Sunday's.
