Who wants a cheap MOONCUP?

DrFrankenZooey · 30/10/2006 12:24

Right, as promised, through my Suma collective I can get Mooncups at wholesale prices, and send them out to you for ?15.28. This includes 1st class postage.

If you want one, you need to email me on frannyandzooey at india dot com and I will send you details of how to pay me. I will only be accepting bank transfers this time - no cheques or Paypal. This is because Paypal charge me to receive your money, and I am not risking bouncing cheques, sorry. The money needs to be in my account by Tuesday 14th November to receive a Mooncup this month, so you will need to transfer it by Tuesday 7th November to be sure of it getting to me (5 working days and all that). You can make bank transfers via your online banking service, by telephone banking, or in person at your bank.

Any money received after 14th November will be refunded, or kept for the following month's order (your choice).

Mooncups will be sent out wrapped in plain brown parcel paper by 1st class post, on Monday 20th November or before, so should be with you by Wed 22nd November at the latest.

Any questions please ask, or email me.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 30/10/2006 23:18

Would if I had online banking. If i gotta go into town to do bank transfer I may as well pop into Boots and get one.

Special Mooncuppy bump...

IvortheEngine · 30/10/2006 23:41

I might well order one this time. I've added this to my watch list so that I can come back to this tomorrow. I have a feeling that I might be due on very soon (I forgot to write down last time's dates and can't be bothered to work it out just now) as I've just written a 1 1/2 page list of new house rules for the kids! Let's say that I'm fed up of repeating myself umpteen times. With this list they know what's expected of them (aged 11 and 12 btw) and the penalties (25p off pocket money each time) for when they don't do what they are supposed to when it's on the list. Sorry for the rant.

DrFrankenZooey · 31/10/2006 07:38

Thanks for the bump VVV

I know what you mean about going into town, these are a little bit cheaper than Boots, so may be better for some people if money is tight

Will check email later today - I don't check that one v often but will try to this week

ROFL at "wrapped in plain brown parcel paper"

oh WHY aren't they sent out in clear bags? Postman wouldn't have a clue anyway!

tribpot · 31/10/2006 13:11

Think I will order one - as this surely guarantees I will get pregnant shortly and the entire thing will be a waste (Well, for a while anyway!)

katzg · 31/10/2006 13:14

count me in, i'll try anything once!

you might have to talk me through the bank transfer though! off to email you

DrFrankenZooey · 31/10/2006 13:16

Good stuff I have got several takers already

Bank transfer is easy, I promise

Mama, I can send them out with large label on saying "The recipient is going to stick this up her fanjo", if you like

darn will you be doing this again??? Cant really afford it this month unless my maternity grant shows up before the 7th. Also how do you order the different sizes[there are 2 arent there]

DrFrankenZooey · 31/10/2006 21:15

Nemo I am intending to do it every month until every female on the planet of childbearing age has a Mooncup

so come on ladies give in sooner rather than later and save yourselves seeing this thread bumped up every hour

OP posts:
BonfireNemo1977 · 31/10/2006 21:16

do you do the different sizes franny or is it just one size..not that I know what the sizes indicate...

DrFrankenZooey · 31/10/2006 21:17

Glad you like yours Yorkiegirl. So nice not having a bin full of sanitary products isn't it?

And Nemo all is explained about the sizes, when you email me (you will need the bucket one if you are over 30 OR have given birth vaginally, so it is fairly straightforward)

I'll bump this for you too!
I couldn't hold out for one either and think it is fab!
Even managed to throw myself around a hockey pitch without any leakage
My Mum was a bit shocked when I asked if I could use a pan to boil it before I used it though

Pixiefish · 31/10/2006 21:30

bought one last month but didn't use it last month as i hadn't had a trial run. Already use washable san-pro which i love as i find the so comfy as opposed to 'disposables' lol.

bumping this for you with my inane comment

DrFrankenZooey · 31/10/2006 21:30

Yes we need lots of testamonials to help reassure people They really are fab aren't they?

OP posts:
BonfireNemo1977 · 31/10/2006 21:31

pmsl bucket size...

Pixiefish · 31/10/2006 21:33

Have been using washables for a long time now and really find them a lot easier than disposables. Am going to have try with my mooncup soon so that I can use it next month.

DrFrankenZooey · 31/10/2006 21:33

They are actually very small indeed of course ladies, bucket is just my little joke
