I have declined the HPV vaccine for my daughter - school nurse demands I give reasons why - is this legal?

I have declined the HPV vaccine for my daughter. Do I have to explain the reasons why on the form? I received a telephone call from the school nurse saying I must but I don't wish to explain myself. If the vaccine is offered I have a right to decline surely - so must I give a good enough reason to decline?

I don't know who the information will be passed on to and how my reasoning will be judged or considered. I just want to politely and quietly take the "no thanks" option without being pressed as to why.
By the way I my dd has had all other childhood vaccines but it's this particular one I'm not happy for her to have.

You can detox if you are worried about it. Www.caccineimpact.com/2015/treatment-manual-for-HPV-vaccine-injured. Not suggesting your daughters are injured but it's healthy stuff so won't do any harm. There are some really nasty things in the HPV vaccine. I have been detoxing my DD for nearly a year ...

SORRY - I mean vaccineimpact.com !! Also, start giving your daughter mineral water enriched with silica... there is a brand called Fiji (Waitrose stock it), which has a high content, Evian slightly lower. If you drink a litre a day for 3 months it can remove up to 70% of toxic aluminium. I think this is what causes the damage. Google Prof. Chris Exley -- expert on aluminium. It's his advice. It's easy to do..Goodluck. Time is on your side as it takes months for aluminium to accumulate, so the quicker you do this the better. I AM NOT A DOCTOR BTW .. just a mum....

Not read full thread because I hate these vax threads on mn but op if you are sure you don't want her to have it you'll need to keep her off school that day.

There have been lots of incidences where parents have refused the hpv vaccine but the girls themselves are pressurised into consenting to it themselves in school.

Which I think is pretty unethical regardless of your opinion on vaccines.

I know this is an old thread but thank you SteveCA7, I have been trying to find out more about the HPV vaxx in prep for deciding what to do when my daughter is due to have it - you have helped me make my mind up!

Light, we have just refused it, I phoned and spoke to the nurse, told her under no circumstances was my DD to have it, I was polite and reasonable , so was the nurse. She assured me DD would not have it if we ticked " no"on the form and signed and returned it which we did. DD went to school on the day and didn't receive it, another girl who did not return the form was given it.

No you don't legally have to say anything. Say it's an informed choice.
