Well OP what a beautiful morning - a brand new shiny day. Fancy popping out to Boots this morning?

Thiscantbetrue - do you have any other hopeful symptoms besides missing periods? I know I had very tingly nipples as my main early pregnancy symptom.

Wellwellwell3holesintheground · 06/08/2014 11:25

Oh, lovely, of course you're anxious. I do think knowing one way or the other will at the very least shorten the anxiety.

Thiscantbetrue · 06/08/2014 11:30

I'm not sure what symptoms to look for tbh as I'm always a bit odd anyway .
all I can think is that for the past 6 weeks i can't have anything processed/fizzy or Caffeine as it just goes straight through me (sorry tmi)

Do I need to see the doctor ?

Wellwellwell3holesintheground · 06/08/2014 11:45

Wooooohooooo! This has made my day!

Wellwellwell3holesintheground · 06/08/2014 11:45

Do a digital and see how far. And then make an appointment with dismissive twat of a doctor or preferably someone else at the surgery and they will refer you to midwife.

Thiscantbetrue · 06/08/2014 11:48

Is it necessary to do a digital ? I don't think I'd make it to the shop tbh with the state I'm in Blush

By my working out I'm at least 8 weeks

Thank you for talking to me

OP posts:
Wellwellwell3holesintheground · 06/08/2014 11:50

No, just nice. Ring doctor now and see if you can get an appointment. Ask if you can refer straight to midwives - I'm sure with one of mine I just rang them myself.

Thiscantbetrue · 06/08/2014 12:01

Just rang and I have to be referred by my GP they offered me an appointment at the end of the month Hmm

I told them I'd ring back first thing for a same day appointment in the morning as don't want to wait til then

sebsmummy1 · 06/08/2014 12:03

Aaaaah congratulations Grin

You can work out how far along you are using the date of your last period and then either go and see your GP or self refer to the midwives who cover your area. I'm sure Google would be your friend to find out.

Thiscantbetrue · 06/08/2014 12:06

Let me polish my maths skills off then , so last AF was 3rd of June so that would make me just over 8 weeks , is that right ?

WienerDiva · 06/08/2014 12:09

Yay!!!! First of all, sit down and get yourself a warm drink.

Don't feel weird about doing a million tests, I did because I couldn't quite believe it finally happened!

Definitely make a dr appointment (with a different GP, your one sounds like a tool).

Wellwellwell3holesintheground · 06/08/2014 12:09

How long is your cycle? Google due date calculator - NHS one is fine. It allows for varying cycle lengths.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 06/08/2014 12:12

Congratulations! :)

That's great news. Sorry your gp is rubbish.

Thiscantbetrue · 06/08/2014 12:12
