how many do you have in a day/night?

I have only recently started having them during the day. I seem to have about 2 or 3 or 4 ... can I expect that to get worse? Am hurtling towards 50.

Apparently it has been used on horses for years.
Yeah, but have you seen the way horses sweat, doesn't look like they work Grin

Reading with interest - GP asked me if I was having any flushes yet last time I went for my regular oral contraceptive (I'm 51). So far, occasionally at night but only if I've got warm PJs, extra duvet and someone forgot to turn the central heating down so - while damper than I'd like - probably not too suprising. And sometimes have to abruptly shed my dressing gown in the morning but only after running up and down stairs a few times! Grin

bizzey for a moment I thought you meant you were 72, and was impressed by how young you write - the realised you mean your mum is 72 Blush
