hello, last weekend i got up for a wee in the middle of the night and I realised I wasnt seeing hardly anything with my left eye, it was like i had a thin peice of fabric over my eye and if I concentrated really hard I could just about make out light (ie my sons nightlight). I tried not to overthink it but it hasppened again thursday night. I got in touch with the optition on friday and they saw me today.

My right eye prescription hasnt changed but my left eye is significantly worse than I can ever remember it being. They did several tests and I couldnt focus properly on the green light I was supposed to be looking at. They took pictures of the back of my eye and found several lesions on the black mass (cant remember the name think it started with an m) at the back of my eye, when she zoomed in the picture you could see light patches on it.

The optician referred me to a specialist and I am going tomo morning so not long to wait.

Anyone have any idea what this may be? I dont mind if its bad, I would like to have an idea what im in for tomo, I will be on my own and so if anyone can give me some info I would be really greatful.

Hope you got some answers Frownyface.

My appointment went well, but the pupil dilating drops are horrid, and interfering with my MN habit. My temporary sight loss is down to circulatory problems.
