WTF Something just came out of my vagina!

I have been having stabbing pains in one side of my abdomen. I had bled unusually early for me over a week ago. I have the coil in and normally go about 8 weeks. This was more like 4! It went on for a week maybe and then stopped for a few days. Then I got pain and a little more bleeding for a day.

Pain again today but only briefly. Now i went to loo again, wiped myself and this little thing came away with the tissue! It had a little blood around it on the tissue. Looks like skin but with blood obviously running through it and has two little bumps in the middle. The top and the bottom of it sorta curl like a sea horse tail.

WTF!?!

What did they scratch?

I think you should stop speculating, buy a PG test in the morning, and go to the drs as soon as you can.

Could be, or some tissue from scratching elsewhere eg vaginal wall, or it could perhaps be an m/c. Please get your coil and the threads checked OP, for correct positioning and any visible or suspected damage in case of either scenario - explain to the doc about the tissue passed and ask for a check.

I think I should stop too. Can't buy pg test, no way of getting one til Sat. Could go to docs tomorrow. Suppose no matter what it was there is nothing I can do about it now anyway except to make sure that coil is not doing any damage!

If you can get to drs tomorrow then they can do a test there surely or there must be a pharmacy next door-ish?

No pharmacy here, only in local town which i can't get to, but yes I spose they could do a test at docs.

melted , ask the doctors to do a blood test , as a urine test wont always show up a mc , if the pg has ended a while before the mc occurs iykwim.

I used to (before my LO, When i used to have periods, but dont anymore cos my implant :) ) pass big clots everytime i had time of the month, It was just part of my PCOS. These clots could be bigger than a 50pence peice, and i used to have these every period, and a vast amount of them obviously varying in size. Uncomfortable and not very nice at all, but they werent miscarriages, so nothing to feel guilty about.

NHS lady phoned back. She hasn't a clue. Really doubts it's anything to do with my encounter with friend. I will go to doc in the morning. Thanks everyone :)

Shag - re the "chicken fillet" - if you have a strong stomach google uterine or decidual cast. This is what I had, frightened me beyond belief but it's not uncommon or problematic.

Omg same thing happened to me 2 days ago freaked out and went a and e cudnt find anything really on da net!!!!!! So freaked out docs sed it cud be a fibroid or polyp didn't know they can just drop out!!!! I had a m/c in dec well was a blighted ovum but they sed it didn't look like retained products it looked like tissue wit blood.........any suggestions :-(

I gave birth over 3 years ago to a little boy. I knew as soon as I gave birth my vagina would look different obviously. But over the years I have noticed that the inside of my vagina just doesn't look normal at all. I thought if I did and continued trying to do my pelvic floor exercises it would look better but I was wrong.

I get the mirror out and had a look as I know this sounds weird but I've always been so self conscious about how it looked after I gave birth and still wanted it to look as it did before and for the sex to feel right with my partner.

The inside just looks horrible and I just get so upset. It looks like this pink flesh is popping out and I'm not sure if this is normal or if the doctor stitched me up wrong or what but it's making me feel really unhappy and I'm so scared to go to the doctors. I haven't said anything to my partner but our sex life hasn't changed and it still feels the same as before (in a good way).It doesn't hurt when I have sex or need to go to the toilet or anything. I'm just so scared something is wrong.

Is any of you ladies in the same boat as me? Did you go to the doctors? Please help me. I don't know what to do anymore. It's really getting on top of me.

When I had my coil my (now ex) dh could feel it on the end of his penis. It actually made him a bit sore and he had a mark where it was hitting it.
I didn't realise at the time but he is rather well endowed!
Compared to others I've subsequently seen
