Wow I think I have done it, uploaded some photos for you to see. Go and check for me when you have a chance. Grin

Cakesandale · 28/02/2011 11:31

Oh they are lovely sparkles! You have beautiful kids - and the dogs look gorgeous as well.

MAS, I don't think I am going to be able to deal seriously with someone talking in a weird voice. Certainly not if DH comes too. Yikes! I'll let you know how I get on. Apparently he gave the people at the gym a demo of his skills and he made it totally impossible for one of the trainers to pick up tiny hand weights. If he can do this I am hoping he might be able to make me a bit less greedy at the very least. Or failing that, better able to sleep.

smee · 28/02/2011 11:37

They all do the weird voice Cakes - not all the time, just when they try to draw you in. Have only been once, but when mine started it made me guffaw - tried very hard not to, but it was impossible not to. He didn't even suggest a second appointment. Blush

Sparkles - your kids look fab - very smiley, exceptionally cute. Where's the picture of you then?! Seeing as you're all doing it, have put some pics up too. Well I think I have..

MaryAnnSingleton · 28/02/2011 12:18

sparkle- they are sooo cute -the lovely dogs too Grin
smee- can't see yours yet !

OP posts:
smee · 28/02/2011 12:42

'eck - I ticked the only friends to see box, and listed all of your names. Just changed something, so see if it lets you this time.

Cakesandale · 28/02/2011 12:57

I am doomed, then! I can't deal with funny voices at the best of times.

Smee, I can't see your profile, even. I'll try again later.

smee · 28/02/2011 13:23

I forgot to click the 'save' button. Confused

Cakesandale · 28/02/2011 13:47

I can see why ds has to be on his superhero guard! That cat is surely about to fly at his head!

Your ds is really, really cute, and I am pretty jealous of your hair in the photo and how slim you are Envy.

I want you all to know that the lack of photos on my profile is due to incompetence with a computer, not an excessive love of privacy. I'll see what i can do, I'm on a roll so far this week, having just signed up for some seriously techie junk for my computer Wink Give me some time to get the manual the right way up though Grin

smee · 28/02/2011 13:57

Cakes, I'm jealous of my hair too - it certainly doesn't look like that anymore. Hmm

KurriKurri · 28/02/2011 14:09

Goodness - I pop out to yoga and I've got loads of posts to catch up on!

I hope everything is going smoothly for Figgy, no hanging about and maybe she has even finished by now and is having a well deserved rest.

LJ - I think it's good you are having a look round the chemo unit, they are usually fairly relaxed places, with comfy furniture.

What lovely photos Sparkle and Smee - gorgeous children both of you - and beautiful dogs Sparkle - how old are they?. Smee - that's a great picture of you - you look fab and very chic Envy Grin.

Sparkle did you manage to get your stitch problem sorted out while you were away? How is it now?

The relaxation/hypnotherapy sounds good Cakes - I hope you enjoy it. You are wise to go on your own though - funny voices would set me off giggling if I was with someone Grin

Are you feeling good after your meditation day MAS? SmileI hope your mum is continuing to make progress - and you manage to find where your dad has hidden his undies Grin

Social Services have finally produced a sensible wheelchair for my Dad, after waiting ages for one, the first one they brought was so huge and heavy, mum could hardly push it even without dad in it.(Neither could my sister and she's quite strong) So they've managed, after much messing about to find a lightweight one for him.

So much for spring sunshine - it's pouring with rain again today and absolutely freezing.

Love to all.

SparkleRainbow · 28/02/2011 14:33

No spring sunshine here either, although thankfully no spring rain either.

I am glad that ss have sorted out the wheelchair Kurri, that should help, finally.

Your ds is such a cutie smee Grin

There are no pictures of me 'cos I don't let anyone take pictures of me, certainly not these days anyway, although my evil "dear" friends took photos on their cameras of me yesterday with ds in the swimming pool at an 8 year olds swim birthday party. Ds could only go with me in the water. It was a party where they got to use these little jets scooters which pull them through the water, with me swimming alongside ds to keep him safe, wearing swim hat required so my hair didn't get caught in the fan of the jet and my glasses so I could see where all the children are. Nice friends eh, about 5 of them stood in a row holding up their cameras...... Blush Had to swim for an hour, am knackered today.....(not any lighter after one swim either )

My lovely vet friend had a look at the stitch, she didn't snip it off as she was confident it would go within the next two months. She thought they had done a lovely job, and the scarring will fade, so that was nice to hear.

My lovely dogs are nearly 9 (Nikki chocolate lab) and 9 months (Heidi black lab) We also acquired 3 new hens last week, now called Sophie, Tiny and Upsy Daisy! Yep the dc named them!

MaryAnnSingleton · 28/02/2011 15:24

ahhh-lovely smee- cute boy !!! and you are wearing a stripy top which is my favourite thing to wear -I have many !!
I could tell that was a London door btw...(probably because it reminds me of my house in London)
Dad had helpfully loaded his w machine so I guess he put his underwear in- will go and retrieve it shortly.
He says mum is the only one in her bay and she likes it-hoping not to be moved to the noisy ward full of old people Grin

Oh that is fab! Well done you Grin

KurriKurri · 28/02/2011 16:52

Dh had planned to get his Seamus Heaney's from the city library until I pointed out he'd have to walk a long way back to the car with a big box of books - completely out of the question for him because he's a weedGrin So he's getting them from the local library now, where you can park just outside.

MaryAnnSingleton · 28/02/2011 17:34

Grin I pity the people giving the chunky books out !

Ah, great photos from Sparkel and Smee! We're all on a roll now n'est-ce pas? Come on Cakes - get that manual sorted!! O my, it so unusual for me to have something techie before anyone else!!! (I am hoping my DS will sort out my Blackberry for me as work organised it for me about 6 weeks ago but I haven't figured out how to get past the 'Waht language do you want?' question yet. [Blush]

Hey March 1st is a very auspicious day for being 3, being 46 and being 56 - its my DH's birthday too. Many Happy Returns of the day to all. St Davids St Davids St Davids
