mouse - dunno. she was at nursery all day and came back shattered so think it was that. She had all her normal medicines so dont want to stop those in case that new one has started working. I think mainly though its the running around at nursery and short naps there.

dd1 has been sent to her room in disgrace. Its all 'you're not my real dad i want my real dad' at the moment Angry

im knackered, i will join you in an early night saf.

Mouseface · 22/01/2011 17:14

Bang out of order Brian. I'm surprised that she's pulling that card so young?

Hmm......... do you think that XTwat maybe plays the daddy or chips game? Except using DP as the chips?

Wouldn't put it past the fucker.

So sorry for you and DP though having to deal with this. Not nice xx

Brian, hard as it is, think its best to ignore the real dad stuff, shes to young to really mean it and be able to process the implications. Of course discipline any disobedience but not react juist to the real dad stuff

Mouseface · 22/01/2011 20:55

Off to bed lovelies.

Night night xxxxx

we had a chat Grin

She's totally confused I think. A friend of hers at school has said DP isnt her 'real' dad. I said to her 'well he's not' Confused and she got all upset saying she wanted him to be her real dad etc.

Can't win with her. He's told her she can call him dad if she wants to. But they've had that conversation a million times. She's quite clever in that she knew I was cross, not about the dad stuff but about her attitude in general so she starts all this 'I love him, I want him to be my real daaaaaaaaddddddddddddddddddd' so that we both comfort her and she gets away with murder, little rat.

She said I was a 'rubbish parent' earlier because she went to play in her bedroom and I said she couldnt watch a dvd whereas DP was about to say she could. So she starts 'you're the best parent EVA' to DP and tells me Im a rubbish parent.

Our new tactic is 'DD1 SHUT UP!!!!' Grin

Saf - if you're not sleeping after that ^^ boring tale of mine god knows what'll help you!! Grin

Afternoon.....

Been sleeping Shock

I must have needed it.

Brian - DD calls DH daddy and her real father dad.

She's getting to the point where she knows he's a twat. We've had the 'why did you and dad split up' chat a few times and she understands that we weren't in love (I didn't tell her he was shagging every woman that smiled at him, saving that one for later) Grin

She's cool with us being 'friends' Hmm

It doesn't get easier, just different. As long as she knows you and DP love her, she'll figure the rest out in time. Smile

TC - why not have a think about what you buy in the weekly shop? So instead of having biscuits in, maybe try cereal bars one week?

Or look at crisps, try snack-a-jacks or rice cakes?

Sainsbury's Be Good To Yourself range is nice.

And also, watch your cals intake and up your water intake? Just thinking out loud.

SAF - are you feeling any better today? Did you get any sleep?
