Does he have a new partner who may have a small child?

I have got rid of the box of coffee flavoured ice lollies DS2 decided he would rather eat them than not have one at all . My shopping doesn't come till tomorrow and all the ice lollies had been eaten.

Just start again tomorrow MAK.

DeFluffy · 21/07/2010 18:50

double - no nieces or nephews. think hes up to old tricks again. he told dd that he didnt live with his father anymore. then when we asked him for his address to send him something he said he lived with his father and that dd was 'mistaken'

last time he suddenly started talking about children's books/ films he'd found a gf with a dd. None of my business but galling when he spends 5 hours every 5 weeks with his own dd. Twat.

Saf, I think when I get back from holiday I'm going to start protein only 2 days a week.

I could do that.

DH has taken the dog to FIL's so I'm on my own until later. You should have seen his face as he left, I thought he was going to cry. It's only for 10 days for goodness sake.

Defluff, no idea sorry.

Coleslaw is basically an excuse to play with my food processor. Recipe here if anyone wants it

bellavita · 21/07/2010 19:50

Alice - I know you are right! and you are allowed to be in a strop

MrB has made me a rather large G&T (one would think he is trying to get me drunk...)

I bet the Finnster looks great in his goggles

LollipopViolet · 21/07/2010 19:54

I need a hug

I'm really pleased for my mate, who has a date with a guy on Saturday night

Annoyingly it's reinforcing that I've only had 1 relationship, ever. That was nearly 3 years ago and ended in him dumping me via voicemail for things I never even said, and finding out afterwards he was a compulsive liar and had been spreading things about what we'd been up to round work, that weren't even true. (we both worked at the same place and he got sacked, we think, the same day he dumped me). Example, we met at a staff party and I got a taxi home. Turns out he'd told everyone we'd gone to another club together. He also asked the mate I mentioned above, out while he was still with me. She said no and told me a while ago, she didn't want to say anything at the time as we looked like we were in a happy, stable relationship

Anyway, that was only a 6 week thing and wasn't serious, I've never anything with a guy... and now it feels like all my mates are going off and having relationships and I'm just sat here, all on my own, the fat girl of the group who can't pull a lad to save her life and attracts weirdos who are 10 years older than her (I was 18 when this happened).

I'm not normal Almost 3 years is too long, my mates who get dumped usually find someone else within six months max.

New-ish pic of me will be on my profile in a bit so maybe you can tell me what seems to repulse the opposite sex when I look at them.

Sorry, feeling really down about it. Stupid I know but I'm scared I'll be alone forever

Right, top photo on my profile is a recent ish one of me. Feels SO good to get that lot onto a screen Ignore me if you want, I go through this every so often because I get lonely.

DeFluffy · 21/07/2010 20:04

LV - No real advice sorry but I would say that looking at your photos you look lovely in your dolphin one - very natural and lovely smile, but in the others you look a lot older than 18. My advice would be to go get a fab new hair cut, something young, and then get over to the s&b threads and sort yourself out an 'image', something stylish but that you feel confortable in.

i know she's a lot older than you but i think of mary portas (not for you but as an example) in that she has a distinct 'style' and always looks great and confident. I think you need to find your style, not for a bloke but for you. It will give you lots of confidence

LollipopViolet · 21/07/2010 20:06

Thanks DeFluffy I keep meaning to sort my image out, just need to find my little niche. All my mates are a lot taller than me (and skinnier, but I'm working on that one!) so to wear what they do really wouldn't work!

Oooh, while I'm on here, anyone got any ideas on how to put the resistance bands from EA Sports Active together?

OP posts:
BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/07/2010 20:08

LV, this is really really not meant to sound patronizing but you are only 18.

I never had a relationship until I was in my early 20's. It took me that long to be happy with myself. Obviously after that the men came running as I am so fucking gorgeous. Not

NormaSknockers · 21/07/2010 20:09

COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK, COCK, COCK, COCK, COCK, COCK, COCK

No reason, just felt like saying cock alot

Yaaaaaaay Shiney you're back

LollipopViolet · 21/07/2010 20:12

Lol Bitter, not patronizing at all! I'm actually 20 now, maybe it's my mates that are odd for needing to be with someone all the time? Not all like that, my friend who's going out Saturday has been single for a good while, and i know 2 people who've been together about 7 years...

Still, feel much better for venting And am having a nosey at clothes online so that when I've lost some more weight and have some more money I can tidy myself up a bit
