I thought Starmer was early 50's max, and Nige mid 60s

I am not being funny but Starmer looks about late 60s and Nigel looks about early 70s. My dad is coming up to mid 70s and he looks in his 50s. I am east asian.

It's his girlfriend that's younger than him (45) his wife is older.

Yes, he is wealthy. However, he has worked for it. He didn't come from money. He has lived a stable life. He was 45 when he married Victoria, and and was 35.

I think Starmer looks right for his age and someone who's taken relatively good care of themsleves.

I would be amazed if Keir has had botox. I really don't think he is the type to bother about that kind of thing at all!! He's just a fairly normal healthy 61 year old with a plumpish face. Not much sun/drinking/smoking helps a lot.

I think Farage was probably born a 'grumpy old man' and it's certainly an image that he is happy to cultivate.

I don't think this is about disfigurement, or even just plain old being plain.. It's more about having mean/ smug/ ill-tempered facial expressions. While admittedly some of us have 'resting bitch faces', some people really do have hostile or sneering faces, and may even cultivate them. This ranges from the type of people who tend to own XL bullies, to, higher up the social scale, Donald Trump.

Where has this £8 million figure come from? I keep seeing it but never with any evidence. I guess a chunk would be his house in London, and that’s not in the bank earning interest. When I google, most of the total seems to come from the ‘land in Surrey potentially worth millions’. I think I’m correct that this was the land for his mum’s donkeys, which turned out not to be worth anything of the sort because it wasn’t accessible or suitable for building.

Starmer not being a career politician probably changes perceptions too - he had a career, got senior then went into politics so logically has had time to get "older" but as he's been around public politics less time than Farage logically he feels "younger" because he started later.

It's like it feels weird when someone who is at a "later" life stage (empty nester) is actually younger than me (kids at primary)... Might be jealous...
