Just a few days left to go let’s see where mumsnetters are at! Sorry for the limited options.

The Reform members I listed are not very bright - they're people who write openly racist filth online and then stand for parliament. I don't think that applies to everyone who wants to support Reform, but some people are deliberately ignoring some really horrific stuff coming out of that party and it's hard to understand how anyone can ignore or justify it.

That's a fair point.

GOODCAT · 01/07/2024 20:42

I did a quiz too and will probably vote in line with that. I was very undecided before so found it helpful to focus on the manifestos rather than all the noise around it.

What's the quiz?

worcesterpear · 01/07/2024 20:45

I still don't know, I might go and spoil my ballot. I would vote SDP but they aren't an option around here.

What do the EDL, Turning Point, BNP, Tommy Robinson and far right parties in other countries think about Reform?

Does anybody know?

I’ve an IQ of 156 and I’m married to a Dr.

No, it doesn’t work anymore
Just branding us racists and shutting down the debate.

You'll have to come out of your echo chamber and actually engage properly with what’s being said.

What do you mean by your second sentence?
Are you expecting Reform to do well enough that people will have to take notice?
I am honestly not expecting them to win more than two seats - I can only assume that all the MN Reform voters are scattered around the country.

Then why are you so badly failing to grasp the content of the post you are responding to?

abracadabra1980 · 29/06/2024 23:09

Well I'm politically homeless so voting Reform-your reference to the BNP is just dates and silly. The whole 'two party' system needs a shake up, therefore I'm glad Farage is causing a stir. I hope he becomes leader of the opposition, which is his aim.

Leader of the opposition? How many seats are you thinking Reform will win?

Timefordrama · 01/07/2024 20:57

And how do your high IQ and doctor spouse justify you ignoring the actual racist comments made by Reform members?

ACarefulTraveller · 01/07/2024 20:58

Farting · 01/07/2024 20:54

And I'm assuming you're not one of the Reform candidates who wrote racist comments online? They were the people I was referring to as not bright.

Could you post a link to it please?

StarDolphins · 01/07/2024 21:16

I was going to vote Labour but no now. Women’s rights are important to me & the future of my DD. Can’t vote tories as animal rights are important to me too. I’m stumped for the first time ever.

Feel like I’m choosing between Fred west or Harold Shipman😕

verdantverdure · 01/07/2024 21:25

@Locusteater
This one is good:

I can't see the poll.

Reform.

BriansGotHisWinkyOutAgain · 01/07/2024 22:24

I was set on spoiling, then saw the link to the quiz. Thought it might give me some guidance.

Looks like I'm still spoiling!

Who are you voting for poll
Locusteater · 01/07/2024 22:56

The poll I did told me to vote for parties I loathe. So it can’t be much good.

whiteroseredrose · 01/07/2024 23:14

allaboardtheplaybus · 01/07/2024 20:33

Fuck knows.

Never voted Tory in my life. Totally pissed off with labour and their reluctance to commit to BIOLOGICAL women's rights.

I did the voting for policies quiz which was bloody pointless as I came out 33% each tory labour and green!

Me too!!

It took ages and was no use at all.

Locusteater · 01/07/2024 22:56

Wait, if you like their policies then what do you loathe about them?

My dad got a Reform slice of pie until I pointed out that "Review Universal Credit" and "Review the State Pension" means "get rid of it"

I don’t agree with their policies at all. So very off the mark.

verdantverdure · 01/07/2024 23:39

Oh sorry @Locusteater I thought you were talking about doing the Vote For Policies quiz where you choose the policies you like. Crossed wires.

So have the courage of your convictions and own your prejudice and racism.
