Anyone downloaded iphone 3.0 yet?

Anyone 'live' with this update yet? Any news as to what time it launches in the uk.

I have downloaded but unable to install as the server is not responding.

And how do you search the content alphabetically?

C&P - hold your finger on the text & you get the 'magnifier' with a blue highlight in it. When you lift your finger you get a copy button & a couple of blue handles you can drag L&R & up 7 down to select text. Then touch copy. Then you go to wherever you want to copy it to - MN message box, or Notes or whatever touch & hold again & you get a Paste button.
Haven't investigated the Search yet...

OK found it - it's the screen before the first home screen - slide to the left & you get a search box. Start to type & you get suggestions straight away - eg I've typed Sha & got Shazam, Shape Slide, Shattered,lots of Shadows songs & various other things, including emails that have these letters in. Touch any item on the list & you get taken there!

Have just got email saying my MMS is ready - you have to send them a text to activate it & it took about 18 hours - but I expect that was because of the high demand on the first day.

I'm trying to send one now, but it didn't work on the first attempt...

Has gone now - took about 3 minutes though.

Has anyone else lost the SMS letters from the speech bubble on the front screen?

I thought there was something missing, but I couldn't remember what! I never noticed them until they'd gone...

Well dh hasn't done his yet so I am able to compare and contrast. The text goes green straight away on a sent text too, whereas before it stayed white until it was actually sent

My DH hasn't done his yet either - he can't spare the time from playing Stone Loops which he downloaded yesterday & has become totally obsessed with...
