Help - total website emergency!!

I have been asked to update friend's website for them.
Have been playing all day, now managed to publish new page. But instead of showing new modified home page, it's all gone!!!!
Please help

Just one teeny weeny little thing.

Is it possible to centre the main text a little better between the photographs? It isn't far out, but my eye keeps getting drawn to the right hand side, the text is closer to the photos there and doesn't look quite right.

I mean the text between the column of 'labels', email address etc on the left and the photos on the right IYSWIM.

sorry one very last question, does it take a min for the actual website to update after i alter the files?
or should it be instant?

Just a quick suggestion - could there be a Buy Online link, big button or something on the Home Page. Looking around the site, I did find the link to the online shop, but it wasn't obvious. I'd stick it on the index page... in fact, I'd stick a big link on ALL pages.
