and I want to love it, I really do. It's better for web browsing than my smart phone so that's good. But I want more than that. I think I need good apps to blow me away. Have googled iPad apps lists and not been impressed overall.

So what do you all do with yours....?

And the lack of flash is a major pain, can't play farmville!

I don't like mine and am going to swop it for my DH's netbook.

I find the lack of flash a major pain. I also don't have any other apple stuff, so can't use t for my music or to upload photos, etc.

It was a gift, BTW. I would never have bought one for myself.

Pluperfect, I'd been considering an android tablet but too be honest it's the lack of android apps that put me off. I have an android phone and find the app store difficult to navigate and apps hard to search for unless you have a specific app in mind

I spent ages going through the Android store searching for educational apps (DS), time tracking and word processing (me) and other such fun things, and I did have some success, apart from confirming for myself that I wouldn't be able to watch the iplayer offline, and no-one can show "track changes" (although some WP apps will allow you to track changes - presumably when you sync back to a "proper" PC!)

Strangely, though, the Apple apps store was less easy to navigate, and seemed to have less of interest. When I was looking for time-keeping apps, to track my time for invoicing purposes, there were a lot of really useless timers, which you seemed to have to set manually, as well as countdown things (which are of no use to me), and not many apps which might have suited a freelance. Their WP apps were all about how beautiful the screen looked and how beautifully their documents would be laid out, which rather confirmed my prejudice that ipads are all about looks rather than function.

BTW, when I was looking at iPad apps, I discovered it was no good Googling: you have to download itunes and use their (crappy, vague) search function. Hope that helps!
