IS THIS RAT POO all over my garden patio 😭

Help ?! It’s everywhere !? Google looks like it’s rat poo! Where could they be living ? In our garage ?

We normally put down humain traps, especially if you don't know exactly what it is.

Although with mice as long as you don't keep anything around to attract them it's not to much of a problem. The squirrels do horde nuts in the garden which can bring them in.

If it tastes nutty it's rat's poo, if it is has more a earthy taste it's hedgehog. Pork or bacon flavour it's probably guinea pig.

It's definitely not hedgehog, we get them to and that is bigger and squisher.

Could it perhaps be frog poo?

Well im switching our outdoor garage camera on tonight and setting one up near the back door also so hopefully find out the culprit from this 🥲😅.

And our garage is literally filled with so much junk we were actually planning to get a skip as we have filled it with sofas and tables etc old kids toys it’s just filled with rubbish… so would be a haven for any nesting animals !

@Hambala omg I actually thought this was a joke until I googled it! It does look similar to frog poo and we live behind a big pond 😂 but I don’t see why a frog would bounce around the garden at night pooing 😂

Sorry I would say that is.. hedgehog poo is bigger and mouse poo is much smaller!

@Grandmasswagbag yes I thought so from looking online I’ve seen hedgehog poo is bigger. It looks identical to rat poo size and shape 😫hopefully I find out on my nanny cam tonight

If it's mice they have probably nested in the sofa in the garage. They destroyed some old teddies before I could get them to the charity shop once. We literally can't put anything remotely soft in there.

Squirrel poo is quite similar to that, although usually a bit "neater", if you can say that about poo... 😁

Frogs prefer foraging at night as there's less predators around, more food and cooler/damper weather. Although I have never seen frog poo despite having lots of frogs over the years. Looking forward to seeing the culprit tomorrow @sallyannex !

I am not a poo expert but I don’t think it looks the right shape to be rat poo. I imagine another wild animal maybe a hedgehog as others have suggested.

Fox poo. Always has a kink at the end - smells like foxes!
Feed them and let them eat your rats

@Sarahzb its way too small. Weird way to describe the size but its like the size of the head of a manual toothbrush (the bristle part) and slightly slimmer
