What are your favourite blue flowers?

I love blue flowers and am trying to squeeze some more into the garden this year! I have forget me nots, borage, salvia, Felicia, brunnera, Alkanet (I know it’s a thug, but I have a little patch of it as I love the flowers!).

Can anyone recommend me some more to try to find? The more blue (not purple!), the better!

I will try to remember to pop back here and update if I manage to keep them alive/get them to flower. They like shady but shady equals slug paradise in this garden. That said I have a reasonable level of success with various other poppies so fingers crossed they will not be favourite slug food.

I bought the most heavenly blue Corydalis earlier in the year - the most extraordinary bright wedgwood blue colour flowers above deep grey-green lacy leaves. There was a display of them at the local garden centre, with everyone pointing and going "ooh, look at the colour of those!"

I wish I'd bought a few....my mum saw mine and wants one, but of course they've all sold out.

If it is the 'porcelain blue' they are on offer on line from Thompson & Morgan.

We saw lovely blue flowers at an open garden, forget-me-not like but beautiful variegated leaves, a volunteer advised me they were brunnera "Jack Frost", bought two the next day, hope they self seed all over the place. The foliage will be pretty even after they've finished flowering.

I picked up this at the weekend, 35% off the £6.

Centaurea montana (perennial). Nepeta is more blue than purple to me. I too like alkanet flowers but it's got fart too much of a hold in the garden.
Some Iris are more blue than purple

Not sure if they self seed but they are very easy to divide once they bulk up- think I got 17 from one clump!

Oh yes, eryngium as well as Echinops

There's a campanula which is a rock plant
And Geranium Rozanne is great for flopping over steps and flowers all summer

Has someone said ceratostigma - small shrub, deep blue flowers
Possibly best in the south of the country.

@Runningupthecurtains well spotted! Yes, it was the "Porcelain Blue". I might have to place a swift order.....

@CointreauVersial I might get far too many notifications from on line plant companies tempting me to buy more plants (yes I did order one).
