Terrible Customer Service - Screen With Envy

I just wanted to share my experience about Screen With Envy.

This company supply unique composite screens and fences for your garden. We ordered over a £1000 worth of screens and fence posts.

We have been left very disappointed with their customer service. Ordered u channels to be used with our fence on the 9th April and its still not arrived. When contacting their customer service was told it would be dispatched twice but it has not been sent. Contacted again on Friday and they said it would be sent out on todays deliveries . Order didn't arrive today and now being told it is out of stock and will be for weeks.

I have asked to be contacted by a manager since Thursday and still they have not go in contact with me. I could hear the staff in the background laughing when I requested the manager call.

Extremely disappointed with this company. I thought that with it being a family run business it would have taken better care of its customers.

Owned by a MNer I believe so maybe they'll pipe up?! Bad service is the worst.

Placed my order on the 10th of April 2022 for next day delivery.

It is now been 10 days.
Despite numerous emails, I have had no response as to when delivery will be made. Looking at all the terrible reviews, I've asked my credit card company to refund the purchase and so so glad I did not place my entire order with them. Only placed an order for 1 item to be sure of a colour match before committing.

Please avoid this company at all costs.

We have recently used Charles and Ivy who were great. They deliver orders themselves.Maybe worth looking into for those who don't want to take the risk with Screen with Envy

They delete all the negative reviews on social media which is why the separate FB group was set up.
I looked into it yesterday as I realised the FB advert had 78 comments but when you actually clicked 'comments' there were hardly any. This always sets my spidey sensors going as it usually means the company have deleted them.

I ordered from them a few weeks ago. Got rather worried as it was advertised as next day delivery and did not hear from them for days.
The next day delivery is a lie. They will tell you it has gone to the courier when it hasn't.
I have received my order and feel lucky as once I read reviews I started to panic. It is very good quality BUT I did have to chase my messages and phone calls.
The courier they use has awful reviews too so I'm sure that doesn't help. They split my order so it did not arrive on one day, not helpful when you need to be around for it.
I was going to order other items as I see their adverts constantly on instagram but I am very wary having now ordered from them and also seen more bad reviews as they all seem to be about not receiving items. They should not be advertising next day delivery if they don't have the items.
I wonder if any of those with issues have considered contacting Matt Alright or the Watchdog type programmes.

I found this info on trustpilot which I found interesting given most of the 5 star reviews are 'invited' clearly this company isn't above board. Shame because I remember the MN thread started to find the name.

We have had similar issues with Screen With Envy. They are not inept, they are deliberately taking orders they don’t have stock for and deliberately not refunding customers, I’m having to claim via my credit card now. They delete you wherever you try to warn people ur Facebook, Instagram etc so very aware of what they are doing! I URGE everyone to go on to Trust Pilot and put a review, sent tweet to Watchdog and use whatever means you have on instagram to warn people. They thrive on social media and any negative movement could impact them so this is the only way to stop them and to prevent other unsuspecting customers from losing their money. We are owed nearly £1000!

I have just received a screen. Well packaged. Very pleased with it. Lovely screen. Cheaper than others online. Delivered within 2 days

Ordered my screen, from Screen With Envy. Arrived well packaged, two days, after ordering. Lovely screen. Looks good in the garden. The only thing i will say is its not as intricate a design as advertised. But still great

Thank goodness Trust Pilot has picked up fraudulent activity from this company, I hope people don’t part with their hard earned cash to this company. It says a lot about them when they are using underhand tactics, reputable companies do not operate that way! Fair play to those who actually manage to get something delivered but I suppose you have to ask yourself if you want to deal with an organisation who clearly misrepresents and deletes genuine customer feedback. If they were good at what they do, they wouldn’t need to do any of that. Saddens me that they get away with it!

Absolutely shocking customer service for me too, was originally told next working days, then 2 months then again not responding at all in all contact channels when asking for a refund! Will pursue this further till I get my refund.

Ended up finding another company who were able to make the same design for me and delivered perfectly with strong packaging and on time. If anyone else is having the same issue contact your bank and purchase from this site instead, they were really lovely and helpful:

They even post fake reviews on mumsnet it seems! They are flagged for reporting genuine complaints on other websites, so at least it has been noticed.

We used them and had no problems at all. One screen arrived broken (by the courier), we called them and it was replaced the next day. 🤷‍♀️
