How do your Peonie plants look right now?

I planted mine end of 2018 so they have only flowered once before

They are sprouting up now but they just aren’t very bushy looking yet and didn’t know if it’s just too early for them or if they aren’t doing so well

I treat my peonies very poorly, and they're about to flower I think.

Here are mine I'm in West Yorkshire.

Mine is still in bud. I just love it when it flowers.

They are so pretty! We had a peony tree in our old house, keep looking for one in the local garden centres but they never seem to have them Realised what I have now is peony envy

Since starting this thread my 3 peony plants are bushing our nicely. I fed them and have kept well watered.

2 of the 3 have quite a few buds, one has none.

I’ve cleared another flower bed in the garden today awaiting another peony to plant there.

My tree peonies are nearly over, but the normal ones that have been in for a while are doing well, I have quiet a few, my favorites!

I'm in Lancs - I have a plant which didn't flower at all for at least 4 years (don't remember exactly), then had maybe 4 flowers? But now it flowers voluminously every year - very thick white/pale pink blossom, will add a pic from last year in a bit. It's in very poor soil, right by the house, but seems quite happy there. Currently the leaves are still fairly crinkled & red, but there are masses of buds (full of ants )

I've also got one in a pot in the back yard - different kind, according to the label it's a deep pink flattish flower with yellow centre? It's been in a small pot for 2 years, recently potted it on to a huge one & it's growing like mad but still no buds & I'm not expecting any for at least another year

Sarah Bernhardt that was planted in a (shallow) border 2 years ago: one large, v leafy stem with one small tight bud on it. Very excited as never had anything like that before!

But have passed a couple of bushy plants with several flower heads in our neighbourhood.

I inherited some beautiful peonies with a new house. I have a big bush with lots of tight buds on it at the minute.

I'd love to cut some and bring them inside, but when should I do it? When they full open or now so they open inside?

This was in my garden when I moved here 10 years ago. It is glorious every year. I'm no gardener, so no idea what sort it is, other than capable of surviving anything! Easy Anglia. Picture taken today.

Here are my two ‘good’ ones

But here’s my not so good one. Not grown so much, about 2/3 the size of the tigers and no buds at all. All been planted at the same time and in the same soil in the same position.
All apparently the same type.
Any clue as to what I could do?
It was the same last year. 2 good ones bloomed and this one didn’t.

Mine are still buds. I'm in Scotland but my yellow flowered tree peony is almost opened. They grow well here and I've grown several from the seeds.

Mine now has about 20 buds, still a few weeks to flowering I think. Yours looks very young/small op, be patient! They can take several years to flower.

I put one in about three years ago. Looked miserable. I moved it and it’s taken off much better but not had flowers yet.
