I am running out of things to try and give dd for breakfast. She is a nightmare and won't eat any cereals. I have so far managed to get her to eat some toast but the last few days she's starting to say she doesn't like it so i need something to make her eat at least some toast!!
Have tried jam, marmite, cheese, lemon curd, just butter, you name it she's had it!! I've deliberately avoided chocolate spread but am thinking it might be the one thing she'll eat!
Is it really really bad for them??

swiperfox, muffins are easy to make. I'd use www.allrecipes.com for recipes, as they're quite an American thing (well, the sweet ones are). There are lots of recipes for banana muffins etc on there.

CHEESE MUFFINS (more like scones than buns)
1½ cupfuls flour (plain)
¼ teaspoonful salt
1 egg
½ cupful grated cheese
4 teaspoonfuls baking-powder
¾ cupful milk

Beat the egg lightly, add the salt and milk. Sift flour and baking-powder together, and then put in the grated cheese. Make into a dough with the liquid, beat well and roll out. Cut into rounds, brush with beaten egg, and bake for 10 minutes at 200 deg.

I have some in the cupboard buit dd usually forgets it's there.
I usually stick a spoon in when i'm due and craving chocolate

DD HAS to have very pale toast with the crusts cut off and just a tiny bit of butter melted in!!
