Where to go for a posh lunch in London?

I'm being taken out for lunch in central London but i can't think where I want to go.Any suggestions? Don't want to spend more han abot £60 per head.

However, for lunch, I'd rather go to Petersham Nurseries for a lovely experience (but NOT central London).

I've had tea at Petersham Nurseries. The food's good then? We live nearby so might give it a try some time.

Food is very good (Gordon Ramsay said it is the place he like to eat at when going out), and one can't beat the atmosphere. We usually forego pudding, take a walk along the Thames into Richmond and have pudding at William Curley - Amazing!
