Kamut grass- which looks like grass - " There is a vast difference between Kamut flour, which is made from the grain of Kamut, and Kamut grass juice, which is obtained by juicing the green grass. Kamut flour is about 1/6 the cost of Kamut grass juice and contains only a fraction of the nutrition found in the grass juice. Kamut grass helps to regulate pH balance as it has the highest pH of all green foods. " comes from barley grass that has been harvested during its early growth, supply vitamins and minerals at levels comparable to the green leafy vegetables. This green food is a rich source of ß-carotene, vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin, pyridoxine (B6), folic acid, calcium, iron, phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, selenium, and potassium. Additionally, this juice powder supplies antioxidant activity; recently, the compound 2'-O-glycosylisovitexin has been identified in Barley grass, which exhibits antioxidant activity greater than that of vitamin E. Antioxidant nutrients such as those found in cereal grasses are important in maintaining health and the integrity of our bodies. Barley grass is also beneficial because it has an intestinal regulatory effect, and can be used for detoxification and to treat diarrhea and bowel inflammation. "
