we tend to have apple crumble much like the others lol

It's easy. You pop it in when you take the chicken out.

By the time you've cleared the main dishes the crumble is waiting to be taken out and served with ice cream!

MarsLady · 31/08/2008 15:46

what have you got in your cupboards to make dessert from?

annaje · 31/08/2008 15:48

Eton mess - easy to make and most people seem to like it!

lovelysongbird · 31/08/2008 15:48

i could do a strawberry one. i know grandad likes trifle.

the starwberrys are just about in season aren't they?
still and i could also do some mini ramakin size crumbles

OP posts:
ThatBigGermanPrison · 31/08/2008 17:02

It's easy, get some ready made pastry, cook the blackberries with some sugar on the hob, then put them together!

lilolilmanchester · 31/08/2008 17:15

If you've got apples and don't want to make crumble again, I can recommend Eve's pudding (apples topped with sponge served with cream/ice-cream/custard). It's quite traditional, which suits the roast
