About half of the garden.

Our caravan on the driveway

We're on top of a hill, so I can see the garden, all the houses to the edge of town, and then a good 10 miles across the valley to the hills. Four windfarms- which one is clearest depends on the light. A town and a couple of villages. One mildly irritating pylon but other than that it is fantastic!

We moved in lock down so only i saw the house before we bought it. DH reminds me from time to time about the various massive flaws I overlooked because of the view.

Our kitchen is at the front of the house, our house is on a slope, so the back of the house has a fully exposed basement, but at the front it is completely buried. So from the kitchen window you can really just see the garden, so grass, plants, our hedge and a tree.

Rampant pigeons, rooftops and clouds.

The housing estate that I live on, my kitchen is at the front

My back garden and beyond the wall about 20 metres away is the edge of a woods. It was once a coal mine and slag heaps but was planted 40 years ago. Now we have deer pootling over to our back wall. It brings me great joy.

I live in a little village in East Scotland so my view is my neighbours house then I can see the church steeple from my kitchen window. When you go into my back garden u can hear the sea as I'm 2 mins walk to a sea view ,the sunset sets are amazing I've even had the northen lights come into my back garden

Our lovely south facing garden with a beautiful old silver birch at the side. A suburb, about 3km from the city. Not overlooked from the back. Though detached neighbours at either side could look in from upstairs windows.
I would love to a sea view though. Awaiting a Lottery win 😀

My tiny back garden (work in progress after moving here 4 years ago), then a field which has potatoes or cabbages (currently waiting to be planted); approx two miles beyond the field is a fairly quiet A road, then mature trees. No noise at all apart from the occasional Typhoon from RAF Coningsby.

Brings me so much joy after my much loved London home where my kitchen looked out onto a well planted little garden - the neighbour at the rear died, the sons split their garden in two and built a small house that was too close to the boundary line and higher than planning permission allowed. Local council didn't come out (covid) until it was almost complete, agreed it was too close and too high but well, "tough". My view changed from trees and bushes with colour to a bare fence and the new house with tall frosted glass windows directly in my eyeline. I have a huge file of paperwork relating to the build that I have to get rid of as it hurts my heart.

Edited to add, there isn't a day - a single day - where I don't count my blessings. When I was shown the house (bungalow) I had a huge smile on my face when I saw what it looked out onto. Them spuds / cabbages are lovely quiet neighbours!

I can see my large, semi-rural back garden. The lawn slopes upwards to a fence which has climbing plants growing over it. In the middle of the fence there is an archway with a gate leading to the very back of the garden which we allow to grow wild, to encourage wildlife. It has fruit trees, and at this time of the year lots of daffodils.

The garden has lots of mature trees, which we planted as saplings when we moved in twenty or so years ago. Closer to the house, outside the kitchen window, there is a bird feeder which attracts lots of different species. It's lovely to watch them. I love my garden, it's a lot of work but it's a great space.

Which one? I have two 😂

There are no windows in my main kitchen (its an odd layout) my ceilings are 9ft high and I have floor to ceiling patio doors.

Steps down to the patio (no furniture out yet) then my garden which is surrounded by mixed hedges and trees. I can see my shed which is half storage and half summerhouse, we added the summerhouse bit last year and I absolutely love it.

From my back kitchen I can see the garage out of one window and out of the other next door's tree which is the tallest sycamore I've ever seen.

My garden then the Thames, boats, rowers, a glorious weeping willow on the opposite bank; I love my view.
