Best chocolates to buy!

Every year for Christmas I get a box of chocolates that I can enjoy all to myself without having to share with my DP or DC.

Anyone got any highly recommended boxes of chocolates? I should request this year? Much prefer dark chocolate to milk / white and like flavoured truffle type chocolates like hazelnuts, coffees, strawberry etc. I've pretty much had every type of Hotel Chocolat selections so wanted to try something different budget is around £30!

Not chocolates but the very best treat for Christmas IMO are Fortnums Cherrilossus biscuits.

They are BEASTS. Absolutely HUGE with the thickest most delicious dark chocolate.

Utter heaven.

Grá chocolates are phenomenal. Worth every single penny. The caramel box is amazing. Haven’t tried the chocolate roses as I do prefer filled chocs - they are works of art and taste incredible.

For chocolates Pierre Herme and Alain Ducasse are amazing. Good quality chocolate, interesting flavours. The French know what they're doing!

@SprigatitoYouAndIKnow yes, totally agree about Hotel Chocolat! They quality of ingredients have really dipped and doesn't feel like good quality chocolate now! Such a shame as I loved their dark selection.

Venchi chocolate is to die for. It’s an Italian brand. They have a store in Convent Garden but can also be bought online and in fancy department stores. I discovered it in Venice and fell in love. It’s divine!
