Best chocolates to buy!

Every year for Christmas I get a box of chocolates that I can enjoy all to myself without having to share with my DP or DC.

Anyone got any highly recommended boxes of chocolates? I should request this year? Much prefer dark chocolate to milk / white and like flavoured truffle type chocolates like hazelnuts, coffees, strawberry etc. I've pretty much had every type of Hotel Chocolat selections so wanted to try something different budget is around £30!

I highly recommend the Chococo advent calendar box. Got them for me and DH last year. Chocolates are gorgeous. Thin choc shells that snap. Really lovely.

I was on their site the other evening picking presents for my parents birthday

I purposely didnt enter the tab for that product because I knew this would lead to involuntary purchasing.

I like Booja Booja. They had a Christmas Spice selection box last year that was divine.

And by the way, if you havent already had it, the chilli con choc choc is outrageous. The woman in the shop said people either love it or hate it. I loved it

The original Chococo shop is really close to where I live - they have a cafe, too. I try not to go past it too often...

Oh thanks so much, never heard of any of these brands. Think I'll give the Chococo ones a go as they seem to be most recommended and I've just looked on the website and am very tempted to buy a box for myself before Christmas, just to check they'll be ok... 🤣

I have found hotel chocolat to be increasingly disappointing over the past couple of years. Such a shame, as they were brilliant. My vote would go for Leonidas. Pick your own because surely no one likes surprise pineapple centres.
