I have bought an air fryer!

So after much thought I have finally bought an air fryer. I know there have been lots of threads, but I can't find them. You tube videos all seem to be cooking chips and chicken, so I am looking for some recipes and inspiration if anyone would like to share?

It's a double one with 8 litre capacity, the instructions don't have any recipes and it just says don't over fill, but no guide as to what quantities.

I was hugely sceptical of air fryers because they are much flogged as a dieting aid and I have no wish to eat chips cooked in air or any other way than deep fried.
However when I read up on them I thought they mightbe a good way to reduce use of electric oven. I bought a £30 Aldi one. Not big enough for a family but DC have left home so it's mostly just two of us.
I love it and have used it virtually every day.
Favourites are pork or chicken. I make a spice / herb rub and oil them.
Roast potaoes, roast veg, any kind of burger, breadcrumbed foods.

I tend to bung everything in at 180C and check after 10 minutes.

I will be buying both DC one for Christmas and I may go for a bigger one myself.

I've just ordered a Tower one of Amazon, it should arrive midweek.

I've no idea where/how to begin with an air fryer. How much prep is there involved and how do you when to put things on? With an oven I have a good grasp of timings for meat, veg etc but I do not have a clue about air fryers.

Oh and if anyone could share any recipes I'd be most grateful.

@ToastedWaffle I have been putting it on at the temperature I would have the oven, and just cook for less time. Mine beeps half way through so I can check and adjust as necessary.

Thanks, do you put things on in the same order as with an oven? As in meat goes on first, then veg a bit afterwards?
