Twinings Assam. Nice and strong. Mum always says what a nice cup of tea it makes.

rantinghousewife · 08/11/2007 11:30

Clipper 'normal' tea
A box of Jasmine leaf tea
Chamomile
Clipper pure green tea bags
and er... that's it!

HairyIrene · 08/11/2007 11:31

tarantula · 08/11/2007 11:32

My mum brings her tea with her. Fair enough cant get a good cup of Lyons tea over here. . she brings a large box tho so I get to keep teh rest

tissy · 08/11/2007 11:34

Twinings Organic English Breakfast, Twinings Lady Grey.

rantinghousewife · 08/11/2007 11:35

See I would love to try Lyons tea, evokes images of 1940s tea houses

HairyIrene · 08/11/2007 14:11

tarantula
my pal's mum used to travel with box of Nambarry (?) irish tea, in her handbag to visit him!

dragonfly white tea (ponce alert)
green tea with jasmine
peppermint
detox tea (some poncey weird brand)
ginger tea
tesco finest
clipper green tea

I'd say you were a semi ponce like me !

ChippyMinton · 08/11/2007 14:20

i'm going to step up to the mark and shamelessly proclaim:

PG Tips

I used to be a fruit tea ponce but now I can't be bothered.

bran · 08/11/2007 14:20

Clipper organic normal tea
Clearspring organic Japanese green tea (my favourite)
Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime
Twinings Lady Grey
Dragonfly Organic Swirling Mist White Tea (my second favourite)
Cotswold Health Mate tea (loose)
Waitrose organic green tea with Jasmine
Waitrose peppermint tea (for when I don't have any fresh mint)
St James green tea with honeybush infusion
St James green tea with nana mint
Clipper china green tea (loose)
Clipper white tea with mint
Clearspring organic bancha (roasted green tea)
Clipper ayurvedic detox

I should probably have a bit of a clear out. I'm generally not keen on Clipper but I sometimes end up buying them when I can't get the one I really want.

hunkermunker · 08/11/2007 14:21

Tetley.

MrsBadger · 08/11/2007 14:22

PG Tips (DH& I are Tea Plebs)

but also camomile, peppermint and some dusty old orange-and-ginger ones

PIL always make a pot with three Clipper and one Earl Grey and it is rank.

MaryAnnSingleton · 08/11/2007 14:23

Sainsbury's green tea
Swirling Mist white tea
English breakfast tea
camomile
Earl Grey
and a tub of weird fruit tea stuff from Whittards

ChippyMinton · 08/11/2007 14:25

Tiempe, if you come round for tea you can bring your own, i won't mind in the least

OrmIrian · 08/11/2007 14:25

fairtrade, earl grey, 'sleep' tea that mum gave me that looks and tastes a bit like a posh compost heap, aged camomile tea bags that no-one really likes, green tea with jasmine.

happystory · 08/11/2007 14:25

My parents had been coming here for years before they actually said 'we can't wait to get home for a decent cup of tea'!

ChippyMinton · 08/11/2007 14:26

Ooh, MrsB drinks PG and she is famous for her good taste, so ...ner..

Marina · 08/11/2007 14:26

Mine are like this Hairy, they bring a reproachful little tupperware of Yorkshire Tea (blech, it doesn't go with London water) when they visit

We have

Clipper Organic Fairtrade tea
Rooibos 11 o'clock tea
Verveine-menthe from France
Twinings Peppermint Tea
A box of organic Darjeeling, can't remember what brand off-hand

seb1 · 08/11/2007 14:26

Scottish Blend

EmsMum · 08/11/2007 14:27

Just buy a very trad looking caddy and fill it with your normal fairtrade. Tell her its PG or Tetleys - whichever she doesn't usually get so she doesnt realise its the wrong shape.

I have lots of herbals from when DH was off caffeine, plus decaf & normal... I would buy fairtrade but DH does most of the shopping now and can't resist bargains, so we're currently working through several large boxes of 100% extra free Yorkshire Gold.

expatinscotland · 08/11/2007 14:27

tetley.

all the rest are herbal teas because i'm pregnant and can't just mainline tetley all day.

fishie · 08/11/2007 14:30

my tea:
300 bags of earl grey (mistaken overpurchase but am getting through it)
rose pouchong
lady grey
lapsang souchong

dp tea:
williams earl grey

mystery tea which nobody drinks:
6 x assorted herbals
1 christmas blend
1 x green earl grey

visitor tea:
tetley which we have had for 5 years

there is a lot of cocoa and poncy coffee too.

HairyIrene · 08/11/2007 14:31

marina ..can see that being the next stage..and the water too...i get that
does she insist on telling you every time kettle is on (frequently when they visit) that she tried a herbal once and bleuch..& pulls toddler face for food horror....
