Looking for some ideas for tea tonight, it needs to be be fairly quick, healthy would be an advantage. Usual Saturday night are sometimes a takeaway or burgers, steak sandwiches etc.

I can't get tandoori paste in my online Asda shop. Could anyone share what they use or the brand name please? Never used it before and not sure if there's an alternative name? They have the dry mix but not a paste.

I got a sachet from co-op, sorry I can't remember the make x

Ive done something similar to that fay ripley thing for a few years. I just use the tikka dried seasoning from the world food aisle and mix it with yogurt and salt, marinade over night and do on the BBQ if i can.

Either do it with rice or naan and salad.

Pataks pace is good and I’m sure Asda sell it

BigSandyBalls2015 · 21/05/2020 15:36

Paste

StayAlert · 22/05/2020 01:40

If I don't have tandoori paste I use a pataks paste pot- one of the spicier ones- mixed in with the yoghurt instead.

I know you've found one but what about fajitas? Most of the chopping etc can be prepped beforehand. Or a stir fry?

disneymommy · 22/05/2020 06:29

Thanks everyone - there is no 'tandoori' flavoured paste on Asda online shop so I've ordered Tikka and Balti flavours. Hoping they will be just as nice!

Bloody hell, Faye Ripley is stealing money isn’t she? If that’s what passes as a recipe these days, then move over Nigella.

I’ve done that Jamie Oliver one but it is a total con because realistically I’m a lot more likely to have potatoes than Smash. So by the time I’ve peeled, cooked and mashed the tatties it isn’t that time-saving.
