Usually he does have healthy stuff honest but this evening we have:
leftover pizza
leftover garlic bread
1/2 cup cake made by 11 year old niece
and a huge piece of melon (phew!)

cod- what are enid burgers?!

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 04/07/2007 17:31

They are made of mashed enid clones. Not at all organic; full of additives!

stepfordwife · 04/07/2007 17:31

tea?! are you saying you're supposed to the little buggers 3 times a day?
Every day?....

francagoestohollywood · 04/07/2007 17:32

we haven't eaten yet

Sparkler · 04/07/2007 17:32

Don't panic - you don't need to feed them three times a day. I only feed mine once - only if they are really, really good!

stepfordwife · 04/07/2007 17:33

er, FEED the aforementioned little buggers, that is..

stepfordwife · 04/07/2007 17:33

a woman after my own heart, sparkler

Tanee58 · 04/07/2007 17:34

Tick tick tick... and I glow in the dark

My mum then became a health freak and out went the Corona Corona drinks and Angel Delight...

Oh, for the golden days of spam fritters

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 04/07/2007 17:36

I often give DS a bowl of beans. better that than nothing.

jaynehater · 04/07/2007 17:40

Tanee, you're fine. Watch Dylan Moran 'monster' - "We didn't eat anything in the seventies that wasn't neon and took less than three seconds to prepare". You tick in fine company. Anyone miss splicers?

don't remember splicers - sounds lethal. dp recently borrowed a book from the library on domestic culture in the 50s &60s and it aroused some scary memories - was the food REALLY that colour? WHY did my mum bake blue cakes?

jaynehater · 04/07/2007 17:49

We await your explanation, tanee

stepfordwife · 04/07/2007 17:49

do you remember the corona man van? can still hear the clattering of empties. those were the days...(my friend)

ProfYaffle · 04/07/2007 17:50

Tonight dd1 has eaten about 2tbsp grated cheese and nothing else! She was offered a jacket spud, cauliflower and broccoli cheese and grated cheese but wouldn't eat it. She did, however, have a big lunch and snack at nursery so I think she's just not hungry.

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 04/07/2007 17:51

We had Mr Bacon.

And Silver Spring.

Sister and I were allowed to choose a glass litre bottle each, invariably, scarily toxic looking cherry or orangeade

stepfordwife · 04/07/2007 17:52

actually..time i gave dh a gee-up. where is our bloody tea? should be on the table by now...

FrannyandZooey · 04/07/2007 17:53

Can't join in because ds is eating chard and tofu

excluded again

Tanee58 · 04/07/2007 17:54

Yes, we had the corona man van - I was the envy of my friends because my mum bought a selection of bottles. Bet they made my insides glow . Not sure why the cakes were blue. Either she was trying some creative cooking, or they were very old....

stepfordwife · 04/07/2007 17:54

yes, we always had coke, lemonade and cherry and people give fruit shoots a bad press. pah! amateurs

Tanee58 · 04/07/2007 17:55

I suppose I SHOULD turn off this computer and go home. Problem with being alone in the office is I get MN-hooked . Now, what shall I cook? I think we have a bowl of left-over mash. Ooh, can't stand the excitement .

ShinyHappyPeopleHoldingHands · 04/07/2007 17:56

What is chard?

FrannyandZooey · 04/07/2007 17:57

It's a green leafy vegetable.
