Freezable foods for 18 month old??

My DD is nearly 18 months. Both me and DH work full time so DD goes to nanny and grandads 2 days a week and nursery 1 day, the other 2 days nan comes to our house to look after her.

I'm running out of ideas for things to make for her lunch. Normally I will make a few big batches of things and freeze them in portions to give to nan so she's got a stock of lunches to give to DD. And likewise nan doesn't have to worry about cooking something for DD when she's at our house, its all there for her. To be honest she's not the best of cooks and quite fussy herself so I can imagine her ending up with a cheese buttie everyday if I left it to her.

Only thing is I'm in a major rut. All I seem to make for her is pasta bolognaise, shepherds pie, chicken and mushroom risotto, chilli free chilli con carne. And occasionally she has sausage and mash or left overs from our tea the night before if its something I can easily shove in a pot and in the fridge and can be reheated the next day.

She's not a particularly fussy child, not keen on egg but other than that she'll have a go of anything.

On a weekend I'm happy to make her sandwiches or any other finger type foods for lunch but in the week she needs to have something substantial and easy for nan to warm up.

Any suggestions???

I used to make a few pots of soup and freeze individual portions in freezers bags for my DD when she was that age.
It sounds like she's getting a good variety from the things you've been doing so far. The other hot meal my Dd loved for lunch at that stage was corned beef hash with beans. Or a mild curry (I'd cut mini nan breads into long slices and freeze them that way too)
I started doing cold packed lunches for my DD not long after the stage yours is at - I buy different deli meats and wrap individual portions in cling film and put into the freezer for sandwiches/rolls as well. I buy big tubs of yogurt and pour enough into a wee tub for her and a selection of cut up fruit/veg - sometimes a wee dip to go with carrot sticks/celery etc.
