Do you have a no, never food?

Mine is tongue. Once mistakenly ate a salad with what looked like raw furry bacon bits in it. Was gross. Learned it was cow tongue afterwards.

Other no, never stuff: oysters. Ugh. Did it once, tasted like cold semen.

Snake. I will never knowingly eat snake.

Milk. I refuse to drink milk. Hate it.

Anyone else got no, never, foods or drinks?

Gnocchi (I can't bear the texture. It's like uncooked dough balls to me)

Blue cheese (rank)

Animals.

JugglingFromHereToThere · 02/02/2014 15:56

Hey, who said mango's - they are a taste of heaven.
And Turkish delight - we had some at Christmas and it was divine (after I was pleasantly surprised to find it can be vegetarian)

< wonders whether LIDL still have any post Christmas specials >

whereisshe · 02/02/2014 16:13

Juggling I agree mangoes are divine but only if they ripen on the tree. Mangoes picked green and then air-freighted from far distant sunny countries never ripen properly and taste sour. Same goes for avocados - I've given them up in the UK as they never taste right.

WeAreEternal · 02/02/2014 16:15

Meat
Fish
Seafood
Dairy
Eggs
Potatoes
Wheat

(Mostly due to allergies)

Taffeta · 02/02/2014 16:28

It's me who dislikes mango. Especially perfectly ripe and juicy. The smell, the taste. VOM. IT.

confettiwoman · 02/02/2014 16:35

Scallops, as i found out by accident that I have a shellfish allergy that only includes bipods (or as i put it things thats arse is also its face). Really annoying as for about 15 minutes i REALLY enjoyed them

UriGeller · 02/02/2014 16:44

Shop bought pastry. Pies, sausage rolls, pasties, tarts. It all looks so flaccid and damp. Dead mans cock skin.

CalamitouslyWrong · 02/02/2014 16:45

I'm laughing at the blog about andouillette. I'd imagine that the vast majority of the population object to food that smells and/or tastes of shit.

ZingSweetApple · 02/02/2014 16:45

prawns

stinky cheese

chilli

coriander

bleeding beef

boak, bleurgh, ouch, yuck and boak again.

JugglingFromHereToThere · 02/02/2014 16:45

Ooh, send me somewhere hot to sit in the shade of a mango tree watching the fruits ripen in the late afternoon sun, and I'll be quite happy to test your supposition whereisshe Grin

ToffeeOwnsTheSausage · 02/02/2014 16:49

Tripe.

Rabbit.

chicaguapa · 02/02/2014 17:06

Tinned meat except that which comes in M&S tins like chicken in white wine sauce. But beans and sausages, meatballs etc in tins are never eaten in this house.

honeybeeridiculous · 02/02/2014 17:13

Goats cheese
Capers
Anchovies

DS has just piped up, 'mums stew' Blush

Amy106 · 02/02/2014 17:35

Liver
Kidney
Peas
Baked beans in tomato sauce

BrennanHasAMangina · 02/02/2014 17:44

I'd eat any of the above if I was hungry enough or if it would be rude to make a fuss. What I do loathe is adult fussy eaters.

woodrunner · 02/02/2014 17:53

tripe
shellfish
rollmops
andouillettes
any form of reconstituted, pressed food-processing factory waste coated in crispy crumb and deep fried to disguise the fact it's not food. (Iceland canapé type things or cheap fish fingers. Euch.)
Garage fridge sandwiches and pies. I'd rather have stomach ache from hunger.

canyourearme · 02/02/2014 17:57

Sausages and bacon

I'm veggie so so meat/fish/geletin etc.

But I despise baked beans/spaghetti hoops. The smell makes me want to throw up. I think it's the sauce...

MiddleAgeMiddleEngland · 02/02/2014 18:21

Vegetarian, so quite a wide selection of things I avoid. Shushi, though, looks particularly revolting, does anyone actually eat that stuff?

Tea - most revolting drink on the planet.

Mangos, on the other hand, are delicious if properly ripe.

Zamboni · 02/02/2014 18:22

Milk

Rice pudding

Offal / tripe / liver

Prawns

MiddleAgeMiddleEngland · 02/02/2014 18:22

Oh, and those horrid slices of fried banana you get in packets of trail mix and suchlike.
