I don't understand why people are parping on this thread - ask me any question you like on Nestlé and I'll happily answer it for you. But I get the feeling that you just don't want to make any actual effort in changing your shopping basket so you'd rather deny what is happening.

Merci Tommy.

\link{http://www.guardian.co.uk/famine/story/0,12128,863509,00.html\Here} you will find info about them demanding debt payment from Ethopia, it says it will invest any money received back into the country, but so far it has failed to do this and they are still demanding interest on the amount owed. Apparently there is dispute over how the money should be invested, Nestlé will ensure that this dispute goes on until all is forgotten and it can pocket the money.

\link{http://www.babymilkaction.org/resources/yqsanswered/yqasindex.html\This} site answers questions about why Nestlé is boycotted. It is updated every month.

\link{http://www.newint.org/issue110/action.htm\This} site goes into the history of Nestlé and all of their 'humanitarian' actions.

Any questions?

I also boycott Nestle. As I understand it one of the problems is that the price of the formula they sell in these countries is excessive. This can actually cause a knock on effect of malnutrition of other family members due to lack of funds. It has been shown that it would only cost one tenth of the price of the milk to provide adequate nutrition for the breastfeeding mother. Nestle have allegedly also been instrumental in destroying the dairy industry in countries such as Sri Lanka so that now all milk (not just formula) is imported leading to excessive prices for all.
