BOF, having read the thread I think a bit of cross posting went on. Usual didn't mention you and after you pointed out you were not slagging usual off it was fine. I think your fairly sensible post was drowning in a sea of spiteful ones though.

Foxsake why come on one thread to be nice to the op and be horrible to another it's not like disagreeing over politics on one thread and having a laugh over Peter Andre on another. You are talking about the same person in the same situation.

Usual most of the time when I see you post you are being abrasive to the point of rudeness. You can't then whine if people take you up on he fight you are so desperate to have. You may call it being honest, but then people are going I be honest back with you about what they think.

Have you ever read the book "Queen Bees and Wanabes".It is actually a book for teenagers,but decribes cliques perfectly.
There are cliques in most schools,and elsewhere.If you read the book,you will be able to work out the characters in the book,and match it to any clique.I bought the book for my DD once,and she found it enlightening,and took it to her school,and people worked out the characters in the clique.

amillionyears don't be silly, you can match up personalities of any book characters to different people.

I could match up the characterisations of the bloody Bennet sisters to groups of friends in a school.

Honeydragon, I'm not sure what the misunderstanding is. It should be plain enough from the other thread, which if people read it, will tally with my account. But it looks to me like usualsuspect has got upset specifically from something I've said, or she imagines I've said, or someone has wrongly told her I've said: in the other thread, she rather bizarrely accuses me of having the power to get people kicked off mumsnet. And the title of THIS thread seems to reference that, hence why I am concluding that her flounce has something to do with me more than other posters.

Obviously, it's upset her, which is why I've tried to explain that she has misread things.

But it is a pretty harsh and unfair slur on me too. If anybody cares to ask MNHQ, they could confirm (I think), that:
a) I've never reported a post of usualsuspect's
b) I've never conducted any sort of campaign to get anybody banned, nor have I 'over-reported' any particular poster
c) I am not some kind of golden child to them: in fact, they probably think I'm a bit of a knob.

I've now seen a couple of coded references to me being a bully since this thread started, so I can only assume that there is some gossip somewhere via pm or similar, slagging me off. Which is pretty unfair, as I've done nothing wrong.

And I've just seen that Hecate is leaving. I hate this place at full moon.

Ah, I was just going by your post on that thread, BOF. I couldn't see anything in it offensive, only that it was misread by Usual which you pointed out.

Because pointing out that she was wrong on one thread is not being nasty, where have I been nasty about usual? I said it was unkind, I stand by that, her comments were unkind to lilac however I came on this thread and was nice because I didn't want usual to dereg over one thread.

It is possible to disagree with someone,point out that they were wrong and still get on. I have not been harsh or false, I don't think. If I came accross that way I apologise I have just stated what I thought.

Op got upset by other nasty comments and hid the thread
Op then to some pms
Op then started thread on aibu alleging that Hecate sent her an abusivepm
Hecate came to the thread late and was very upset that some people believed she would do such a thing and now says she is leaving
Hecate has posted a shot of the pm on her profile
The pm read : dear op. sorry you are upset. Yanbu. love Hecate
