I keep trying to add to this thread but fear dh has put a hex on it as every time I get to the bit about ER the screen goes back to the previous one.... anyway, apologies if multiple posts happen, but here goes....

Mumkey - heard of him??? Most of the recent postings have been Mumsnetters perving about him!
I, for one, agree totally.
Robert Downey Jnr - the only good thing about Ali McBeal in ages (I'm sorry but Bon Jovi as a love interest????)absolutely divine despite nasty drug addiction.
George Clooney - in fact pretty much any male with a pulse in ER except Romano.
Ian Wright circa 98
Tierry Henry
John Malkovich (Spelt correctly?) dunno why.
Angel - oh Angel
Spike
There are loads more but brain has died.

Ghosty · 11/09/2002 08:53

Mumkey - am green eyed monster - did you really go to ballet school with Mr Adams? You lucky, lucky thing you!

Oh, just thought of some more - I used to like Bruce Willis in Moonlighting.
Jason Donovan in Neighbours (how sad is that?)
...And there is something about Alan Rickman ... gorgeously ugly!
Has anyone been brave enough to mention David Beckham? Come on girls, you know he's gorgeous!

Azzie · 11/09/2002 08:55

Ghosty - agree about Alan Rickman. Beckham is fine until he opens his mouth and reveals that, although he's a nice lad, he doesn't have much up top. I like my fantasy men to be savvy as well as sexy .

Ghosty · 11/09/2002 08:58

Azzie, agree totally re. David Beckham. Mind you his bank balance is quite attractive too ... not that I am materialistic or anything like that you understand!

karenanne · 11/09/2002 09:21

im adding mine quickly then dissapearing...ive been told i have strange tastes!!!!
david beckham(ok hes not strange)
benicio del toro(traffic)
johnny depp(not when he was young but now)
vin diesel(fast and the furious)
eddie (holby city)

pretty much as bald stars apart from telly savalas!!!!

i apologize now....runs off

LiamsMum · 11/09/2002 09:42

Ghosty I think it's Alan Rickman's deep voice... I also used to find something attractive about him, & I'm sure it's his voice. He's certainly not all that physically attractive.

Azzie · 11/09/2002 10:03

Talking about voices - I think that Richard Burton had the sexiest voice ever (there's a classic recording of him reading Under Milk Wood which is divine).

Janeway · 11/09/2002 10:14

Can't beleive no one's said Denzel Washington - I think he's my fave eye candy!

Mopsy · 11/09/2002 10:19

Diarmid (sp??) thingy, the Irish gardener from Home Front.......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Ghosty · 11/09/2002 11:24

Oh, Oh - just thought of someone else (talking of Irish, Mopsy), what about James Nesbit from Cold Feet? Now there's a yumscrum for me!

ticklebyday · 11/09/2002 14:44

I used to think Robson Green was a bit tasty.

David Ginola - mmmmmmm, top tottie, speaking of which - Tottie, the Italian footballer, yes please.

Linford Christy gets my prize for top body.
Paul Newman for top eyes.
Gerald Depardieu for top ugly beautiful.
James Mason for top voice (now where did he spring from?)

anais · 11/09/2002 22:33

I'm afraid I don't get the Tony Blair thing (in fact the whole idea makes me fell quite ill....)but power is a real turn on. It's like the whole 'bad boy' thing isn't it? I love naughty and arrogant men, but they have to be a bit sensitive too...is it any wonder I'm single?

bells2 · 12/09/2002 08:55

Have to confess to a bit of a thing for Tim Robbins but my all time fave is Gregory Peck in his prime.

Philippat · 12/09/2002 10:50

Agree with Gregory Peck although he looks just a little bit too much like my dad for comfort.

You know, I think we've got pretty good taste on Mumsnet!

Can I add Heath Ledger (10 Things I Hate About You). I'm obviously not the only one cos there's a web site called the Heath Ledger Estrogen Brigade!

glitterbabe · 12/09/2002 11:30

Absolutely agree Gregory Peck (younger days) was gorgeous, especially in 'To kill a mockingbird' my all time favourite film. Another one that was a beauty in his younger years Oliver Reed, he looked a bit like the young beautiful George Best.

Ghosty · 12/09/2002 11:34

OOH, they don't make 'em like they used to! How about Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart? And that lovely bloke (name escapes me) who was in 'Oklahoma' and 'Carousel'?

Enid · 12/09/2002 11:36

Jeff Bridges was gorgeous when young too.

Ghosty - please say you don't mean Howard Keel.

WideWebWitch · 12/09/2002 11:56

Agree about Jeff Bridges, definitely. And Robert Redford and Paul Newman in Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid... see, I'm not completely weird

CAM · 12/09/2002 12:21

The very young Paul Newman in "Sweet Bird of Youth", especially when half-naked doing those sit-ups on the bedroom floor....The very young Marlon Brando in "Streetcar Named Desire" , I can feel that Deep Southern heat just thinking about it (or am I pre-menopauasal and its a hot flush?)
AAAAhhhhhh.....Real Men!!! Move over new age quiche eating wimps.

CAM · 12/09/2002 12:29

Sorry, just got to put in an English one, cos of course we all really prefer the home-grown variety don't we? (Bells??): Laurence Harvey in Room at the Top. (faints now)

Rhubarb · 12/09/2002 12:53

Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones - ooooh he can whip me in shape any day!!!

bea · 12/09/2002 13:30

ghosty! - Gordon Macrae! i love him in the doris day films... moonlight bay and by the light of the silvery moon... ahhh! a cup of tea and biscuits and chocolate film afternoons!!!

bells2 · 12/09/2002 14:14

Oh Cam, Laurence Harvey. YES YES YES!

nexus · 12/09/2002 18:03

Omar Shereif .
Daniel Day Lewis in Last of the Mohicans
Elvis Presley in his prime
Jim Morrison
Kurt Russell - lucky Goldie
Val Kilmer
Aiden and Big (Sex in the City)

The list could go on and on and on and on........

Fionn · 13/09/2002 22:10

CAM - Sorry to disillusion you but Laurence Harvey was Lithuanian!
How about Albert Finney circa 1963 in Tom Jones. And early Alan Bates...and Dirk Bogarde...
