Just been to a preview screening.

Very emotional film. Liked it more than I thought I would.

Is it the best film of this year as per the hype? Not for me but it is good and well taking time out to see.

Great acting from Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga and Sam Elliott.

Sadly the wooden acting of whoever played her manager really let the film down with a bizarre British accent and stilted delivery.

Bit too long.

I would recommend it - take the tissues.

fabulous film. Bradley Cooper is a seriously decent actor and Lady Gaga really surprised me.

Have seen it twice now - DD wanted to see it after friends raved about it and I said I'd go again. Even better second time.

Widow - I would hope not then! Strange though as some articles suggest he is not actually with his GF though. Even so they have a lovely friendship (hopefully platonic) and I believe the fact they genuinely care for each other really shows in the chemistry in the film. There are not many on screen romances that really portray that level of chemistry well IMO.

LG has announced her engagement in the last week so I doubt there's a scandal there

Eventually seen this, did enjoy it very much though the last song over did it for me, the British baddy, manager, bit typical, and the new Ali, with her different songs and style, but she loved Jack 😔

Bradley Cooper is hawt with a beard but I really was't feeling the character. I thought he seemed lecherous at the first meeting, and didn't really improve from there.

(Sorry).

I just watched this at Baby Cinema, it was packed out (much more than First Man last week!). It was so noisy with babies that I couldn’t hear the last couple of scenes at the end before the last song. So I actually wasn’t sure if what I thought had happened had happened!
Overall I loved it, Gaga is phenomenal and Bradley Cooper played an addict so well.

Went to watch this last night, it was much better than I thought. I hadn't listened to any of the soundtrack before this & haven't stopped playing it since.
I already loved Lady Gaga, but I'm glad a lot more people seem to appreciate her talent after watching this.
Bradley Cooper was very good too, the chemistry between the two of them was very convincing.

Firstly, flippin' heck Bradley Cooper. He is possibly the most attractive man to have ever graced the silver screen! Grin He is also an incredible talent btw.

Lady Gaga great too.

Loved it but still prefer the Streisand/Kristofferson version a tiny bit, it was less polished and edgier. I think they needed a bit more build up in some of the scenes, but that really is nit picking. I I liked that Jack wan't unfaithful in this version.

Bloody brilliant! 5***

I know. Who knew?.. I was sitting next to my husband thinking I probably best not mention Bradley Cooper has properly morphed into the hottest man alive, Kept thinking it though. 🤣

Bradley fans need to check out his stint on the spy series Alias it finished about 10 years ago and I think it's on all of the main streaming services now

See I've never thought he was hot before. Bit too smooth for me.

But now,,,😜

I thought it was ok. I was a bit disappointed. Found his character annoying. Loved her but thought she was so much more attractive with dark hair and little makeup. The makeup and hair in the 2nd half aged her by about 10 years! My DD would have hated it. Too much swearing in my opinion too!

I loved loved loved this and must go see it again. I think it's better than bohemian rhapsody now I've seen them both.

Did anyone else find it impossible to understand what Bradley’s brother was saying? Absolutely everything was mumbled!

Agree, couldnt hear the conversation with the brother. had to guess what that story was about. I believe Bradley loved his brother more than his dad?

I really loved it - but the only moment I had tears flooding down my face was when Jack gave Charlie the steak. Sad

Apparently Charlie is Bradley Cooper's own dog. I wonder how many times Charlie fluffed his lines in that scene to get a retake.

I saw this yesterday with my step daughter and we both thought it was good, but felt it wasn't worth the hype. It didn't make us cry, it was a bit too long and the story has been done so many times before the ending was obvious. Having said that, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper was amazing and I'm going to download some of the songs. I found the dialogue quite hard to hear at times.

Bradley Cooper has always been on my list!

We saw Bohemian Rhapsody earlier in the day and that blew me away. Maybe because I've been a Queen fan for nearly 40 years but I was choked up from the beginning, when he's about to go on stage at Live Aid and I cried many times during it. I wanted to sit and watch it again straight away.
