Hilarious!

As good as the first one. Puss in Boots, voiced by Antonio Banderas, is hysterical.

Is it out in the UK yet?

It's a hairball Tissy. In the forest when puss-in-boots cough's one up.

yamamoto · 06/07/2004 02:48

Oh no, heard this morning they are talking about shrek 3 and 4, Ahhhh

lou33 · 06/07/2004 03:02

I saw a programme about the makers of shrek, and there are indeed 4 parts to the shrek story.

I heard one of the directors interviewed on R4 a couple of nights ago, and he said that the story of Shrek is complete at the end of Shrek 2, and he couldn't imagine where it would go after that. Yesterday afternoon Julie Andrews was interviewed on Steve Wright's show, and said that we would be seeing a lot more of Puss in Boots in Shrek 3, so guess they are planning more

Janh · 06/07/2004 12:04

I heard the producer on Front Row and he said there would be a 3 and a 4, but definitely not a 5 or a 6. (listen again if you're interested!)

Frenchgirl · 06/07/2004 22:48

is it me or does the 'handsome' version of Shrek look like Gordon Brown?????

expatkat · 07/07/2004 22:44

I loved it but 4-yr-old ds was frightened despite constant hysterical laughter from audience. I tried to explain that it was funny not scary, but he wasn't convinced. Halfway through he said, "This is even scarier than Harry Potter." He kept referring to the Jennifer Saunders fairy godmother character as "the witch."

I agree with the others who say it was great but just wanted to warn people with 4yr olds that mine found it scary.

littlemissbossy · 07/07/2004 23:05

we've had this for months, our freelance guy downloaded it from the internet , it's brilliant and our youngest, aged 4 thinks it's great too

Janh · 07/07/2004 23:05

We are planning to take 4 Russian kids to see it on Monday. I don't think the language will be a barrier...

hmb · 07/07/2004 23:14

Booked to see it tomorrow, can't wait!

tamum · 14/07/2004 00:08

We went to see this today- I loved it, thought it was much better than Shrek 1 even. Never seen the children so enthusiastic and giggly about a film.

Has anyone seen Around the World in 80 Days, BTW? Any thoughts on suitability for children (or whether it's just dire )?

Angeliz · 14/07/2004 00:09

We took dd last Friday,
VERY good and had me giggling lots
