Is Liz Fraser helping all women or just herself?

Liz Fraser boldly claims across all mediums that she aims to help all women live their best lives. However, there are suggestions, allegations, and evidence to the contrary.

What are your thoughts on the validity of her recent postings in the realm of domestic violence, parenting, mental health, neurodiversity, travel, running, holistic wellbeing and more, as a self-promoted "influencer"?

Keep your thoughts wholesome, relatable and current to her most recent postings. Do not mention ex-partners or her children by name. This discussion is to better understand the objective of and validity behind her “work” and words.

Venice is a foodie’s heaven. Well I’ve not picked this up from any of Liz’s posts. Liz, this is a great article to plagiarise.

Venetian cuisine features regional variations, with Castello in the east known for seafood and San Polo in the west famous for meat. A standout meat dish in San Polo is baccalà alla vicentina, a slow-cooked salt cod specialty, best enjoyed at Trattoria Al Gazzettino for an authentic experience.

Makes you wonder the authenticity of this. If a non English language native wrote this “stumbled upon” “some time ago” “you capture the soul”, I’ll eat a stale baguette with a warm wine chasers roadside. 🍽️🥖🍷

I expected she decided to write 'stumbled upon' as there's no reason why a Venice native would be looking up information or Instagram accounts on their own city 😆. These posts are like those silly "Twitter has just reminded me of this [thirst shot] from X years ago" or, more recently "I just had a message from someone saying this [video of me diving in a bikini, I think I look fabulous in it so I'll shove it down your throats again] really inspired them, so I'm posting it again to HELP others" 🤣

I doubt Liz will even reach her 90s, if she continues this decades old abuse of her body. Her food posts are always very transparent, but I doubt she cares, Being thin seems to be her main currency, but as one ages it becomes less than forgiving, particularly in the face. What is interesting to me, is that it has been well documented in the field of eating disorders that sufferers, particularly long term ones, tend to remain at the age emotionally that they first became unwell.
This puts Liz at around 15 years old. She is absolutely emotionally stunted, and often behaves in a really juvenile way. " This girl" beyond the 20s is cringe, relationship announcements, sticking her tongue out and dressing like a tween.
Her awful dancing in mirrors, - she may be a fast runner, but she really can't dance. Sorry Liz, but you look rigid. I have said before that she seems obsessed with ageing,(she's 49 in case you missed it!) and is realising that her sexuality doesn't quite work as well as it might have done in the past. Still Liz, at least you're the happiest ever, and also now recovered eh?

🤔she’s been away a week now and no mention of the children she’s sacrificed all for. No countdown on the days separated? The bond this has created - oh whoops 😬 Something’s cooking and it’s not food. See, I’m staying in topic!

Its almost as if she’s given up (or lost) custody of the youngest (much like she did with the older ones)…

… but if she’s finally decided to give that child some privacy I’m all for it. And not posting pictures of the “best mummy in the world” creations will give Liz more time to highlight the behind the scenes work she’s doing to support women!

I don’t know about Liz living her best life, never mind helping all women to live theirs. Wandering round Venice on her own doesn’t inspire me much, tbh.

I’m wondering if the occasional allusions to the pretend boyfriend and #love are mainly to keep Mail Online at bay – Ms Fraser must surely know that the journalist 😂 who picked up on the “jacket-man” post on Insta is watching her social media, so she can’t just stop saying anything relating to a new relationship in case it inspires a follow-up piece on whether it was all just a flash in the pan.

All Ms Fraser’s recent comments and hints certainly have plausible deniability. She hasn’t actually said any new (pretend) boyfriend wears yellow shoes, nor that he has tiny childlike red-shod feet when on the vaporetto, nor that anybody other than her drew a heart in the sand on the Venice beach. And no overt claims have been made that there is an actual new man with her in Venice able to withstand tremendously low early morning temperatures in order to watch a winter sunrise. And a photo of two cups of coffee? Liz can easily say she was thirsty, or needed a double caffeine shot prior to the next bout of exercise.

And as I said in an earlier post, her heart doesn’t seem to be in it, really. She’d probably much rather move on now. The jacket photo will have served its purpose for her at the time, and I reckon she'd much prefer to be posting about other IMPORTANT things rather than having to tit about intrusively photographing random strangers’ feet in the hope that SOMEBODY thinks it means she has a man.

And I’m not sure where having a pretend boyfriends fit into the feminist struggle, tbh.

And let's not forget that the jacket-on-the-bannister bf announcement came on the heels of Mike's trip to NY with his gf. Frankly, I can think of warmer things to be doing with a new bf at 5am than filming Venice for 'fans' that have already been bored to death with videos of the city already, and names spoken with a pretentious Italian accent.

Wrongsideofliz · 30/11/2023 20:46

Perv 😜😅

Wrongsideofliz · 30/11/2023 21:22

I find it cute that a primary school child is writing her posts this week. Who cares if it's a bit hard to read with excessive use of adjectives, adverbs and metaphors? 😜

Back in the real world, someone talk to the supposed prof "writer" because her purple prose isn't impressive. Her storytelling is a laborious, rambling spaghetti of words. Her writing needs the same structure, planning and purpose her career/life needs.

I pity any editors who fall for bluff and have to make this publishable. Italia Magazine, those three article, how’re they coming along?😄

Raffington55 · 01/12/2023 15:27

Clever of Liz to do 'coffee standing at the bar'. I lived in Paris for two decades where one stands at the bar too, and one stands in such close proximity that the cup belonging to the person next to you could be that of your imaginary partner! Nice trick.

Also, Liz, it's "dites-moi" not "dis-moi" (yes, hyphen required too 😘).

Waverleyst · 01/12/2023 16:31

Tell me you don’t buy a coffee on your commute without telling me this Liz. Regulars at our station coffee bar don’t need to give order or coffee team ask for money. It’s all a seamless human interaction rather than the anonymous transaction you describe. I’ll stick to this thank.

Adastra23 · 01/12/2023 17:36

I’ll also give Venice a swerve Liz. It’s far from a glowing endorsement that an entire city refuses to cater to the needs of people with health conditions or lifestyle choices that exclude dairy. It’s also so not cool to endorse discrimination Liz. Do better. Much better.

Cambridgebunz · 01/12/2023 19:42

It's odd that Venice has taken this stance against plant milks given that Italy offers plenty of vegan and vegetarian options in its cuisine given the abundance of naturally occurring plant-based options in Italian cuisine. It’s also so simple to substitute dairy or meat in numerous delectable dishes. I think Liz is doing an injustice to cafe owners and restauranteurs in Venice with her interpretation of the facts/truth. She’s so anti anyone who goes against her norm, what she thinks is acceptable. can we assume The Missing Bean is more inclusive?

Liz could learn a lot from Fatima, but won’t. Fatima’s X shows she’s such a natural and proactive ambassador. Meanwhile, Liz’s first move is an attempt to put Fatima in the shade. This isn’t going to happen, Liz might have been the first, but so far she’s the worst; a completely self serving, ineffectual ambassador, unless I’ve missed a summary of results. Have I? Liz, as a frequent visitor to this thread, perhaps you can jump on and update us…

She should go to Skye the ever changing light, colours, mountains and water are amazing . It is strange that she doesn’t travel in the UK only Italy and Austria. I also went to Venice once was hot , crowded and smelly not going again

GinnyWoolf · 02/12/2023 11:06

It's kind of sad that she's planning on having Xmas in Venice, at least according to her latest posts about having 'xmas breakfast with friends.' What about her little girl?

Whealspeed · 02/12/2023 11:19

What was that coffee post all about? Is her travel writing for people who have never been anywhere and also never had a cup of coffee? I am baffled.

I guess it’s her dad’s turn as she had her last time. Though who knows what the arrangements are now as she seems to be with him most of the time

GinnyWoolf · 02/12/2023 11:29

She was talking like she's staying in Venice until Xmas but I guess that might not be the story.

Tortiemiaw · 02/12/2023 11:30

I'm hoping she'll go everywhere so we all know how to order coffee and sightsee properly.

I have a horrible feeling I've been doing it all wrong.....
Who cares about trauma when you know how to order drinks in furrin!

GinnyWoolf · 02/12/2023 12:02

I honeymooned in Venice once. It was a nightmare. Got water poisoning, lost a stone in weight, fell out with the husband, couldn't sleep due to sex noises of the people in the next room. Next wedding I had, I chose Cornwall as the honeymoon location and that was a lot better!

Physicsrevision · 02/12/2023 13:32

Three daughters and son too. She’s not spent Christmas with her older children since she met Mike. Now she has replaced Mike, can S except the same? Fingers crossed she can. I’m sure a fabulous Christmas awaits her.

Phew for the second marriage 😅.
