Seems like a pretty accurate description of many posts and posters on the sex and gender board.

If you post terf-pride into the feminism chat board there will be push-back, and you’re going to get called out for bigotry.

if you don’t perceive your behaviour as bigotry that’s on you. It doesn’t magically make it not bigotry though.

This could be read to mean entirely the opposite. Are those that are ‘unreasonably attached to a belief’ the people who believe in biological sex or those that do not?

How about if I say that personally, I've never encountered fairies and don't believe there are any in my garden?

What about my obstinate belief that being alone in a space with unknown males can end badly, due to a few really dire experiences and an unwillingness to be subjected to any more?

Or that the world is round and it gets dark at night, because the evidence of my eyes and practical experience outweighs what anyone else may tell me, regardless of what names they may try to use to make me do what they want?

Incidentally can anyone help me out: why is it 'bigoted' for a female to say she does not want to undress and be vulnerable in a space with males because they don't feel safe and don't want to be assaulted..

but it doesn't seem to be 'bigoted' for a male to say they do not want to use male spaces because they don't feel safe and don't want to be assaulted?

I mean other than that male people matter and female people don't, and any logic or equality of thinking would mess up desired male smashing of inconvenient boundaries to access non consenting female people when they are undressed and vulnerable?

TRAs are the biggest, most vicious misogynistic, homophobic bigots out there.

People - especially on the caring left - used to care about women’s rights, and think equality for women was a good thing.

But women’s rights have been utterly thrown under the bus in the name of men’s rights.

We haven’t gone back to the 1950s. We’ve gone back to 18th century when women were silenced and expected to put up without question.

And this is being supported across the political spectrum.

Funnily enough none of the trans “lesbians” seem very keen on dating other “trans lesbians”. The transphobia and bigotry is real 😉

Ha! Called a transphobe on a Brexit related Substack forum board, such a shame in that he now couldn't talk to me anymore...and I told my besty new friend that it was too bad he was so small minded, but it was no skin of my nose if he wanted to bow out.
Felt good to stick up for myself over that, after I was called a racist to my face at a dinner party some years ago purely for saying I was sympathetic to the complexities of the Leave vote in 2016. That one really humiliated and hurt me.
But being called a transphobe? Too much bad stuff has happened in the gender wars for me to eat myself up over such a snowflake opinion.

Where else, just thinking about it, do we see a male person insist on being provided with high standards to match their self image and self importance, and wishing to control their grudging provision of the female's much lesser portion?

Oh yes. Abusive male partners in domestically abusive relationships. Knew I'd seen it/read about it before. It's like those sods that allow their partner 10p per head for her and the kids dinners and sit in front of them eating take aways.

I believe that people can be trapped in the wrong body / have severe dysmorphia and it's absolutely necessary for them to transition, fully. I emphasise, I see them, these are folk just trying to live their lives.

But I find it absolutely horrendous that there are sex offenders with penises roaming around female prisons. I think this is such a huge betrayal to let this happen.

However just a person who has transitioned (no penis) who isn't a sex offender using a loo next to me. Well I don't care. But how can you know they are not a sex offender and does / does not have a penis??!

What are the other safe spaces that are concerning? Other than loos.

Should there just be Male / Female / Unisex / Disabled loos? So like a 4th loo? Would that solve this?

I find all this very confusing, I will be honest

You're asking questions which are now "transphobic dog whistles".

And let me correct you that transitioning is NOT something that is absolultely necessary. That's lie you've been sold. With a lot of people with gender dysphoria therapy works.
