I want to get all the shit off the Leah thread. If you want to debate NAMALT and similar, please do it here.

A general post, I've been here a day and didn't know about "@" clearly this has caused some confusion with my posts which have, other than this, all been direct replies to other people's posts. I'll do better. Wish everyone well, I generally welcome opposing positions as it's an opportunity to learn. Welcome feminism as I want my SO and daughters to live in a fair society. Purely selfish really.😀

I'm a big supporter of women's rights in general, although I'm sure some will try and paint me as a misogynist for disagreeing with a lot of feminist ideology.

I just feel that some of it shares similarities with other radical ideologies. Like radical Muslims and incels who recruit those already suffering from oppression or societal issues, and they encourage misanthropic attitudes in these individuals rather than encourage them to rise above and see the bigger picture.

It might not be all men but its enough of them to be a problem.

I think women who are doing the 'work' as it were, don't engage in NAMLT discourse because its very purpose is to derail, distract and delegitimise. By the time you're done arguing about statistics and met with 'but women have murdered their entire families too' or 'but men are also victims of domestic violence' you really have nothing left in the tank to think constructively how you can support women. Male violence is a problem. Men 'as a class' are violent. The violence enacted by men does not need to be physical for it to be harmful. Arguing the toss with these people simply helps no-one. The rise of incels is not a problem for women to resolve, neither is men losing a grip of their masculinity. That so many women are now choosing to be single speaks volumes. There's a reason why single, (childfree) women and married men have longer life spans and greater overall contentedness with their lives.

I don't think men as a class really are that violent. Just more violent than women. On the average day most go to work and then come home and spend time with their families.

If they were that violent why would 80% of us choose to procreate with them by choice.
