Two questions.

I thought serious crimes were always heard in crown court.

Why magistrates?

That's odd surely?

Whatever the view people have on releasing names etc. Why hasn't he been suspended from the council while this is happening?

Those are the things that jump out to me.

It goes to magistrates and then the judge usually refers serious crimes up to crown

One in the article lives near me and acts like everything’s normal it makes me feel sick , I wanna move ,there are lots of children in the street I have 2 myself . I can’t even look at him
