my dh was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis last year , totally out of the blue and last year was very hard while we both came to terms with it. We are both on Lexapro since Dec and it has definitely helped but I just feel so tired all the time yet dont sleep that well. I went back to the gp who gave me a weeks worth of sleeping pils (very low dose) and while that helped for the week as soon as I stopped I went back to square one. I have tried exercise also but that didnt help. I have a slight headache and pains in my legs every morning and I really think its tiredness, I feel slightly hungover iykwim. Its starting to get me down, I have no energy and no matter how much I rest it doesnt help. I dont know if its the Lexapro making me feel like this because the first few months on it I was fine and didnt feel like this. My mood is fine, I get down now and again, but in a 'normal' way,(not like before I went on the anti-ds) and in general I am ok. Any advice or experience please!

No experience of it but I can get very tired too, although with me it seems hormonal related?

How's your diet? Are you eating plenty of protein? Maybe a food supplement may help? Just an idea?

Sorry about your dh I can imagine how hard that is to cope with. Do you get much support in RL?

Sorry meant to say I'm also on Ads but citalopram.

Thanks curiousmama, I would say my diet is ok, not brilliant but not awful either. I am taking vit b and c at the moment. Support wise my parents are very good but at the end of the day there isnt much they can do. He is doing ok thank god, but can only work 2 days a week due to the fatigue and other symptoms. I just worry about the future, what if he cant work, what if he gets bad etc, and yet I know there is no point in worrying because that wont change anything!

No it won't change anything but you're only human so are bound to worry. I'd go and see my gp if it were me, maybe they could give you a supplement or look at your meds?

It's good you get some support though can make all the difference.
