it would have been me that found her.

Awww thats sad Littleblue. I've been there and know how you feel. My mum took an overdose in the house one day while she was looking after my little boy. I was quite angry that she did that when he was in the house, but then I realised that she must have been pretty desperate to do that. It was just by pure chance that I came home from work at lunchtime that day (which I never ever do!).

Poor woman, I hope things look up for both her and you. xxx

Gosh, I am so glad you found her and made clear to her how distressing the whole thing was for you as well. Clearly, she needs further support, ideally professional.
Also, it might be wise to get some blood tests done to make sure her liver managed to cope with 15 Paracetamol, because as other posters have said, damage fromParacetamol OD sometimes only becomes apparant later.
So relieved for you.

My goodness I'm so sorry for you and your mother You do need to pursuade her to get help though... Mental health support teams can be incredably helpful. I would also second the suggestion of a blood test - ODs can be very dangerous.
