Are nootropics an effective alternative to traditional cognitive enhancers?

Lately I’ve been struggling to stay focused at work, and the usual stuff people recommend either knocks me out or makes me feel wired in a way I don’t like. I keep seeing folks talk about nootropics like they’re some magic brain boost, but I honestly can’t tell what’s legit and what’s just hype. I’m not trying to turn into a superhuman, I just want my brain to stop feeling like it’s wading through oatmeal. If anyone here’s tried nootropics as an alternative to the typical cognitive enhancers, I’d love to hear what actually helped and what was a waste of time.

I've been using phenibut for a few years now. I don't have it every day and I stick to the weekly allowance. It improves my sleep and mood immensely.

I’ve had good luck ordering research peptides through peptidesourcecanada since they ship fast and everything shows up properly labeled and tested. Their handling tips and FAQs saved me a lot of guesswork too, so if you’re trying to keep things simple and avoid sketchy vendors, that’s where I ended up sticking with.
